There were just so many good movies when we were young. Sometimes even some cartoon can keep us some great memory. I still remember that I like to watch Popeye the sailor man very much when I was only a kid. Each time when he ate spinach, He would won the fight with Pulto. It was fun and it taught me that we don't need to be afraid of the evil on and we can always fight them. Some other movie such as Gladiator,Ben Hur, Star war movies were all great movies and it really have great impact to human life. Well, may be you can share some of your favourite movies and tell us how it impacts your life.

I like seeing the movies and my favorie is 2010 amd the day after tomorrow. I think the most impressing part is that they let us see the incoming situatiion if we not protect the environments.so we need to have the consciousness of protecting our natura environments. Everyone should remember this. and try to arouse the whole to do it. for you and for me and for all of us.

sorry,I made a mistake it is the movie of 2012. do you think the 2012 is really coming. some people say that they are afraid of this. I don't think so. but we need to realise the serious situation. we should take the act of loving our Nature. I think of the song : healing the world.

I am with you. I do not really think 2012 is coming. But we do need to be cautious about how we utilise our natural resources and how it will affect the environment. It is a pretty difficult job - healing the world - but if everybody chips in, we can make a difference.

i don't know why but i have great affinity toward war pictures. some of my favorite movies are war pictures including my all-time favorite which is 'Saving Private Ryan'. others include Black Hawk Down, The Thin Red Line, Schindler's List, Empire of the Sun, Wild Geese, The Longest Day, Behind Enemy Lines, The Patriot, etc. even though its a tv series and not a movie, Band of Brothers is worth mentioning as it's one of my all-time favorites, movie or not. movies depicting human valor, dealing with human emotions, hardship and inspiring real life movies and several others of that kind are also among my favorites. Gladiator, The Pursuit of Happyness, Amistad, Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, Deep Impact, etc. besides, sci-fi, adventure, action, super-hero, thriller and other genre movies are also there which caught my imagination. notable among them are the Terminator series (especially Terminator 2), The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Independence Day, E.T., Avatar, Back to the Future trilogy, Transformers series, Predators, Rambo series, The Matrix, and a whole lot more. ironically, Titanic isn't among my favorites. i don't know why but it just doesn't appeal to me much. among foreign language films, i like The Elite Squad ('Tropa da Elite' in Portuguese) and City of God ('Cidade de Deus' in Portuguese), two great Brazilian movies.

Hey I love war movies as well. Almost all the war movies that you have mentioned above, I like them all.perhaps the war movies not just have action, but also have great teaching involve in it.Killing someone is bad when you have to shoot at him. Each time, when the actors are fighting with the bad guys, then you will alwyas think that you are the good guys in the movie. In reality , you can see how the US Soldiers are fighting in place like Iraq at the moment and they might have to kill some innocent people when in the public. That's nothing glory about the war because it really takes away human life and also destroy outhers family when an army reach the enemy's major city. Bomb and jsut thos voice, will lead sto many casualty and wounded human being. There are some war movies will talk more about life rather than action." SavingPrivate Ryan" would be a very good example of this. This movie is for sure one of the best war movie in this century since it really talks about many sides of but not just action. It talks about humanity in a deep level. We may always ask question such as " why do we have fight among one another and kill each others in the war?"" Can we just live like brothers in this world?"There may always be a satisfly answer to those question but the audience need to deal with question like that after watching those war movies.I think we can all learn something from anym kinds of movies and it is also a good entertainment for us to enjoy during our holidays as well. Have a good day and enjoy your movies all the times.

Some of the emotional movies and mythological movies have impact me a lot during my child hoold. I use to imagine myself in the same character and I undergo all sufferings as my favourite character undergoes. Either the hero or heroine is liked, I put myself in that position and be happy when that persons laught or cry when that person cries. Movies impact a lot.

I would like to name 2 movies. American History X and a movie I recently saw - The boy in the striped pyjamas. American History X moved me a lot. It is a movie about being responsible. Life is too short and there is no point in spending it feeling bitter. One should enjoy oneself and make others feel good as well. That's how we can make the world a better place to live in. Regarding the second movie, when I watched it, I was speechless. I wouldn't go as far as calling this movie the best of 2008. That is only because I am a die hard fan of THE DARK KNIGHT. But THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS is right behind it, if not sharing the top spot, in my opinion. The theme of the movie is really great and has been executed perfectly. I do not like sad endings and this movie almost made me cry. Had I seen this movie in a theater I would have definitely cried. That would have a first, though. But I think if this movie had a happy ending it would not have been worth it...

There are two different movies that immediately come to mind that are favorites of mine and also movies that have had somewhat of an impact on my life. The first one is Hope Floats. The reason that it had an impact on my life is because of the fact that it taught me that there is never a reason in our lives that we should give up on our lives. There is always something to live for even though there are times that we might have to look for those things. The other one is Where the Heart Is. It showed me that we are able to endure in our lives even when we do face hardship in our lives. Though the odds may be stacked against us, we are able to come through.

I've always loved to watch horror and action movies. Horror movies make me excited and I love the scary parts especially. It makes the experience of watching horror movies more exhilarating. Action flicks are nice and great, I love watching Jackie Chan's movies. For those of you who don't know, he's a Hong Kong action movie star. I love watching his movies since young. Movies like this are a great part of my memory.

I had seen a couple of movies from Darren Aronofsky before, but when I saw The Fountain, I was flabbergasted! Impossible to summarize what this is about, but for whoever likes fantastic movies, contemporary poetry, stories about things that matter and maybe love stories a bit, watch this. Also, Hugh Jackman does help.
