My dog saved the day!

The other day my boyfriend had a 7am doctor's appointment. On a regular day he wakes up at 8 am to get ready for work, so the day of his appointment he made sure to set the alarm for 5:30 am. However, after setting the alarm he forgot to turn it on! Luckily, our pug climbed on top of him and started licking his face at 6 am! It woke my boyfriend up and he was able to get to his appointment on time! If it weren't for our dog, he would have completely missed his doctor's appointment! I don't know if it was just a coincidence, or if somehow our dog knew my boyfriend needed to be up! What do you think? Has your dog ever helped you out in some way?

I think it probably just a coincidence. But a very lucky one! ;)

Haha, I might have to agree with you there. I love my dog, but he's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box. But who knows?? Maybe he's really super intelligent, and he's got us all fooled with his act!

Haha well you would be surprised about how dogs a lot of times can tell what time it is. My dad told me this story about this seeing eye dog of one of his professors in college. The dogs name was Star. The dog would lay down at 8a.m. when class started and at noon exactly the dog would stand up and nudge the professors hand. The professor would then say " well Star says it is noon so class dismissed." So dogs are really smart you just have to be teach them somehow if it is intentional or not. And as for the forgetting to turn on the alarm I so feel his pain there. Happens to me all the time. I set the alarm but forget to turn it on. Can really become annoying.

I believe dogs can sense when we need something, I think it is cool that your pug did this.. Unfortunately my girls, (beagle/border collie sisters) wake me up too early..lol...

That is amazing. None of my dogs have ever been that helpful, but I believe your right!
