Democracy

Modern democracy is different from ancient democracy. But I think overall democracy is a western concept. Even today eastern nation like China is not following democracy. Bhutan is only recently heading towards that. Pakistan's democracy is just an infant.

Democracy was thought as a concept in ancient Greece, so you may as well name it a western consept, in terms of location. Considering the corruption of each country and the whole bureaucracy involved, however, I don't really think the original concept still exists. And as USA is mostly referred as western, it should be noted that bipartisanship is not a form of democracy. Each country forms its own political system according to its own needs.
