New Skype

Yesterday I was connect to my skype for a conversation with my friends.
Till now we had no problem in our conversation.
One of our friends had the new updated skype and he cannot connect with us (not updated).
After that, another one update his skype to the new version but also he cannot connect with us to conversation after update but he can connect and speak with the other updated person.
I was decide not to update because i think that something is bug in new version.
Have someone else same problems ?

Lots of glitches in Skype is not a good thing, and I hope this gets resolved. The service is a really good tool to connect with people world wide. Lots of functionality comes with the service, including texting and video chat. But when there are so many problems plaguing one's chatting experiences, I feel such a person should let go. Updating everyone that this is happening will increase awareness and hopefully skype will correct the problem. May there be change.

I didn't knew that there is a new version. The non conection problem is a serious problem, so I'll not upgrade then. But so far, I haven't experiensed this with anyone.
I'm still using the 3.8 version, as the 4.2 is greatly downgraded in many aspect, most notably the skypeme mode removed. Maybe this new version is worth a try.
