Are you beaten by mylot notification????

I always answering discussion from my email from notification thats mylot send regularly. I receive many of it every day although I only have one hundred friend (4page) and I think all my friend active in making discussion

. I think I am kinda slow in answering discussion because I had more than 200 email from mylot than I have not reads yet. So I officially say I am beaten by mylot notification because I am to slow answering a discussion from my friend. Are you facing the same problem with me? share please and thanks

hi nangisha here I am at 11 oclock pm slogging away as I too had about 240 notifications and now I just did the last one,its taken me three days as I am working while not really feeling all that well tonight and having been hurt by a woman who knew nothing about me but cast mean aspesions I am now heart sick so am going to go to bed as I did get through all of them.so I too was beaten and if I had stopped when I should have I would still have a lot to read and respond to so do not'feel bad nangisha as you are sure not alone here. lol loll

Hi Miss Hatley!. I am glad I am not the only one who officially beaten by mylot notification

. I think miss heatley you are more diligent than me, its stated clearly by number our your post

. I have been member for almost a year, not know exactly how many month. Number of my post just show how slow I am

. Miss Heatley don't let that woman ruin your day, like you said she doesn't know you but she made judgement it just show how shallow she is. You must take care yourself because bad feeling can affected your health. Thank you and have a nice day.

Yes,my friend nangisha.I also face the same problem with you.The mylot notification is often sended to my hotmail email box.How to change the settings on mylot community to refuse the mylot notification?

You can alter them here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx and here by turning them to 'off': http://www.mylot.com/nr/friends.aspx?t=0 The only notifications which we cannot stop are those relating to deleted posts.

Hi Ilbo1981!. I think its will easy to turn of notification like miss D said but I think its better to keep it on. Because its the easiest and fastest way to find a discussion you like with out browsing it on mylot. By keeping notification on sometimes mean we are maintaining your friendship with your mylot friend and get updated with their new discussion.

I am not able to be here as often as I was before and my notifiers are piling up

I am leaving them there and I have even made seperate files in my mailbox - one for notifiers and one for Digests too. One day I will be on like before and then I can catch up and... break the mylot bank?

I think you had guts to keep it on your email inbox miss D. If see email more than 500 I feel a little bit stress because not able to answer that much so I usually deleted the old one and leave about 200 email in my inbox thats I feel I can catch up later if I had time. I think we had the same situation here miss D. I don't have much time either here because real life really make me busy. Its really nice to hear from you and remember miss D you will always missed here

well you see thats what used to happen to me till i honed down my long, long friends list and are only keeping ones that participate with me. and answer their own responses. although im a little behind, i do eventually catch up

Hi Bunnynon7!. Yes indeed if I had as many friend as you had. I think I will stress by just seeing number of email I had if I had friend as much as your. Like I said before I only got 4 page friend which is not much if compared to yours. Thank for response I really glad to hear from you. PS: Don't mind the first post I hit post button accidentally.

When using computers, I also make the response of the notices sent in my email. I also experienced anything like you. But the email notifications are very helpful to me. Now I am more likely to use mobile phones to log on MyLot. So I do not activate the notification.

I use a Sony Ericsson w850, I also sometimes use nokia navigator. I've also been using the Sony Ericsson W200.

Yes indeed Indah notification make every thing easier when surfing in Mylot, I really depend on it when come here because like you know my connection really slow and I had to manage the quick way to come here and answer discussion I like. What phone do you use to surf mylot, I can not access it with my phone.

Yea, it is a headache to receive such e-mails. I also receive many notifications from mylot regarding the comments. But if you have problem with this you can disable the notifications. This option is available in prefferances, you should check this out. But it is also helpful as you come to know if someone comments to your answer. Happy mylotting. Regards, harry.

Hi whitestich02!. I don't really wanna to turn it of because its fastest way to see the discussion I like than browsing mylot. I also see it as a way keep in touch with my mylot friend because I wanna them to do the the same. By keep a tract on discussion I will know what happen and try to answer if I feel capable to do it. i never feel like deleting my friends' discussions....and i have more than 700 of them accumulated slowly...and i don't get time to delete them even .....so you can say i am not only beaten but hammered by mylot notification

Hi Eshaan!. I think we have the same condition. I don't wanna to deleted discussion made by friend before reading its first and decide can I respond or not. Sometimes I get discussion I can not guessing what the meaning of the discussion so I skip it. So I can we both officially beaten by mylot notification

Hi nangisha, I think you are lucky to have quite active friends here in mylot

. I have many friends but am not getting that much notification. My inbox is flooded with notification when I am away for one week and if I am regular here then I don't feel any difficulty to handle the situation.

Hi Sreekala!. This few month I am quite busy and when I can login here not many of them I can answer because I have limited time. You can imagine sometimes how many email I had if I beaten by it every day

. Yes indeed many of them really active in making discussion which is great because I am lazy in making one. I only making them if I need it or feel into it. I more enjoying answering others discussion than making one my own. Thanks for response sreekala and have a nice day.

200 emails from Mylot? That's a lot and what's all those mails regarding? Currently, I receive quite a lot of Mylot notifications that some of my responses have been deleted, must be because of people who posted the wrong thing and going against the guideline. ARGH.

Hi JudgeIronfist!. No I don't accept that many email every day. Thats what I had left in my email inbox after I answering few of my friend discussion and its seem I never can beat it by answering all the notification they send me. Yes indeed there are so many our response are deleted, mostly its because the discussion is a poll type and its something we need to avoid to response like discussion what is your favorite color.

i think most of us is beaten by mylot notification.. every days 200 emaisl from mylot come to my email.. sometime i open my email every 3 days.. thats why iam loser :)

this is also my problem. more notification with my email account. i'll delete all mylot notification on my email one by one. well now i'll solve it using settings on my account at mylot.

I had the same problem too, which I have solved already! Yay! I read my email regularly before, Like I check every 30 mins or so if I have new mail. Sometimes, even every minute. Then when I started using my lot, I was bombarded with email notifications. I could turn it off, but then again, you'll never know if you receive an email with an intersting discussion in it. The emails were too many that I decided to stop reading my email altogether. MyLot and facebook were taking a toll from my email. So I decided to put filters in my email. Mail from my facebook account were automatically sent to a specific folder, then I changed my email address here in mylot. All my money earning accounts are under a different email. So now, my mails are properly segragated. I'm using thunderbird to view all my email accounts from yahoo, gmail and hotmail. (I have a lot!) :)

Hi Knicnax!. I had different email too for my online job. I us others email for my personal need. I think thats will good idea to separated it into different folder

yes, very much so. i am on mylot regularly but not daily. and sad thing is, is that i rarely if at all check my email with yahoo. so im sure i have hundreds of notifications just awaiting.

Hi Donnaphips!. I am on the same situation like you. I really enjoy my time here but there a time I can not login all day because there something in real world I to do. When thats busy day my notification is really pile up until its seem will be never I can reply it all.

sure was, just changed my personal email address ,solved the problem,though I'm having a hard time now finding responses to my old discussions that people might have responded to so i have to go to and from my old email address which is a little annoying...

Hi arkhan!. Nice hear I not the only one who has been officially beaten. I don't really wanna to turn in off because its easier to tract discussion made by my friend. I usually deleted the email I already answer so not much leave there beside the one i have not answer. I had different email too. one is for online earning while others for my personal need.So if I had email from my friend I don't have to struggle to looking for it.
