Watching TV is my first option, if I can't find any interesting programm in all channels then I'll turn off my TV and play some games in my cell phone or my PC. But if I don't want to play some games then I'll just listening some music on my bed until I got slept. Sometimes I listening music with reading a book, but only when I'm in the mood to read.

Very nice question JackRoy.......It really happened one day with me. It was Sunday,I made my morning tea and started my PC and was disappointed to find that something was wrong. I restarted it several times and then gave up. I accepted the fact that I had to spend my day without PC. So I decide to arrange my cupboards.....one after another it went on , from cupboards to drawers, shelfs, show-case, kitchen, refrigerates and finally lot of laundry and then family was hungry, so cooking. and dish-washing etc....the whole day went so fast and to tell you the truth in the end of the day I was so satisfied and proud of myself. I had really not wasted a minute. And all this was possible because the biggest obstacle , my computer . did not work......we really don't realize that how much time we waste sitting on PC doing actually nothing worthy. But what to do, we all are so addicted to Internet and in spite of knowing its disadvantaged, we cannot live without it. So if some day I will not have PC again.......I will be proud of myself again

If i'm off work that day i wouldn't like it because i'm used to being able to use it quite alot that day if i'm not going out somewhere with my family. If i'm at work it wouldn't bother me much because i'm not here to use it anyway. It wouldn't bother my wife much because she can go days without the internet because she gets distracted with all the things she has to do around the house anyway.

When I moved out of my house that I had sold and moved into my bungalow it was weeks before my broadband Internet was working again. I made lots of phone calls to my Internet service provider. Then they said it was back on but it still didn't work. They tried to find out why and I needed an ethernet cable. Off I went to buy one of those. Funnily enough I bought mobile Internet to tide me over until the broadband worked again. For one day with no Internet I would go out for the day but for weeks I would get mobile Internet.

Although I 'soak' myself virtually all day on the Internet, I never miss it when I am away or when the connection goes down. There are lots of things I can do besides internetting. I can read a book, watch TV, do weight training, clean the house, make food, or go shopping in town. There are too much to do and the Internet is just one of choices around.

I will read my books, and I will do something I didn't have time to do before when I was using internet. So, there I might find tons of stuff that I didn't have time to do before, when the internet is disconnected I will have time to do them.

My life isn't dominated by internet... :)

It's really crazy to think people are so depended/addicted to the internet that they wonder what would they do if it gets disconnected for a DAY. I mean a month or a week even would maybe be worth a thought. But a day? That's just funny. I would hardly notice and do the same things I normally do. It's not like I'm all day surfing the net.

I would go slowly crazy, lol! Seriously, though, I would be fine. I would keep myself busy with my children, housework, taking the dog for a walk and, if there was enough hours in the day, would also do some cooking. There used to be a time when the whole thought of the internet being disconnected would have driven me into to breaking point but lately I have been making a point of not sitting down at the computer during the day (unless it's for something important) until after I have done the evening dishes.

Hello JackRoy! Me too, I will spend my time with my children, playing with them and watch cartoons on dvd. Sometimes, I read books though, I will never get tired reading a book, I can live without an Internet a day but I cannot live a day without reading. Of course, I cannot forget shopping! Lol! Cheers!
