AND the madness begins!!!!

It's 7am here, meaning that Black Friday shopping has been going on for about... 3 hours+ where I am. Unfortunately (or fortunately? Hmmm) I am stuck at work until 3pm, missing most of the sales. But I wanted to start this discussion, because beginning with Black Friday, the Christmas craze begins. Prepare for malls to be insanely busy, stores insanely picked over, and prepare to fight to the death for that last parking spot - which is still about a mile away from the mall entrance. I love the spirit of Christmas, but I hate this part. Don't you? Or do you get totally caught up in the madness?

We don't have Black Friday shopping but we sure do have a Christmas Rush shopping. It starts in December first where the store and malls are just packed with people buying presents for themselves and for others. I hate it when there are too many people and it's too crowded. It's also the season for shoplifters and theft, so people should be aware about this in my country.

I only went shopping on Black Friday one time and decided that it was not worth the entire savings to fight that crowd and to have to stand in the cold to go to the sales. I hope that the people who have money go shopping now and are done by the time I need to get out and shop.I usally am done shopping before now, but I have not been able to this year as I do not have the money to go shopping today anyway. I think that I will be making a lot of gifts for this year and so it might not be many trips out this time. I hope that the economy gets better soon.
