Went to see the new Disney animation Tangled this weekend. It's a nice combination of romance, comedy, adventure, music and heart which reminded me of Disney's classic animation canon. This hilarious retelling of the Brother Grimm fairy tale is visually stunning and thoroughly entertaining. Mandy Moore did a marvelous job voice the princess, so did most of the ensemble. I've no idea it is the most expensive animated film to date, with a budget of $260 million before.

Hello irened. I just went to see this movie with my girlfriend and it was simply stunning - the magic of Disney is there, the whole movie was breathtaking, the humor was present all over the place, and the story has nice twists often. It is worth seeing we just loved it.

I was thoroughly impressed with Tangled! The movie was perfect in every way and the soundtrack...amazing. But with Alan Menken (same composer for Beauty and the Beast) I shouldn't have been so surprised. I agree that Mandy Moore was amazing! Rapunzel quickly became my favorite princess of all time...Belle is now in second place! ;)

I saw Tangled on Thanksgiving Day and I adored every minute of it. Rapunzel is the cutest Disney Princess alive. I thought it was adorable when the little girls braided her hair! I'll be getting that one when it comes out on DVD for sure! $260 million? Wow... that's a whole lot. I think maybe the budget got driven up because it was stuck in development for so long. Longer production time means more money spent. I hope they make it back and then some because it was a fantastic movie.
