I am just back from a short holiday tour to Mumbai. Mumbai has always been a city close to my heart. It is like second home to me for that matter for most of the Indians. People from nooks and corners of India come to this place for searching their livelihood and soon make it their home. This is the reason Its population is burgeoning day by day, which is close to 14 million at present, the second highest in the world. The people earning less than $2.00 live with the same happiness and contentment as the people earning thousands of dollars per day. There are number of places of tourist attraction here, Gate Way Of India, Hanging Garden, Sea beach 'Chowpathy', Elephanta caves and many more. It is a home to India's famous Bollywood which produces highest number of motion pictures in the world in various Indian languages. Visit the place once and you will fall in love with it instantly.

I am really glad that you had a very enjoyable time in Mumbai. It interesting to hear about its sights and attractions. It is fascinating that Mumbai is a place where many Indian people from other areas have moved there. I know the poor people earning just a couple of dollars a day in India are far happier than those earing hundreds of pounds a week back here in my home country. I hope to visit India one day and will travel around on trains. Most of all I would like to see the Taj Mahal in Agra and then visit Mumbai before going down to the beaches of Kerela. I am happy to hear that you are back home safely.

Yes, it is an excellent idea to add Goa to my plans. I saw a documentary about a lady on a program called 'The Secret Millionaire ' and she went to Mumbai. She found some very poor people and they seemed happy ones.

I am a keen traveler and your introduction of Mumbai is making me want to visit that place as it sounds so interesting. I have just returned from a long vacation in Australia and the travel bugs is still biting me.

It is nice to hear that you are a keen traveller and you wish to visit Mumbai. I bet you will enjoy it only thing is that you should have an eye for that. It is also much more cheaper to visit Mumbai or any place in India than places like Australia or Europe. Do add Goa in your list of places to visit if you decide to visit India.

My sister has been to India and she told me that shopping is good there as goods are cheap. I love to shop till I drop if that is the case.

I have been to Mumbai twice, a very beautiful impressive city. It certainly is one of the most beautiful cities in India, with many places of attraction for visitors and tourists. "The Gateway of India" is certainly one of the attractions. This is a city of culture, traditions, and business too.
