All work and no play, makes people really dull!

Lately i kept thinking that all our lives are lived by a squedule! When we're kids, it's school, when we're older its the job. The only time we're in no program is when we're really old, but what are you able to do then? Nothing you could've done when you were a teenager..why is it the world made in such way that carreer is all that matters, and money? we should stop and look for a while, see how beautiful world really is.

I hope you find something you love to do. My passion to help people gives me excitement to get out of bed on Monday morning. Five weeks of vacation gives me a chance to pursue my other passion; enjoying the out of doors. Now that's a beautiful world.

I do think that, to some extent, there is some truth to it. But sometimes this is not always the case. I think that it depends on the person, the situation, and what the person wants from life and such.

true as well. if its work what someone wants, or have a carreer, good for them. but from what i've heard, in people's latest years, when they're old and can't work anymore, they don't think of what they achieved trough their work, in the end you think of the good times you spent with your friends, or how happy you were. if you never saw work as.. well, work and you actually liked it, good for you!

I totally get what you're saying and agree with you 100%. Of course, we need to work, to provide for our families. But what fun is it when we are working all the time and can't spend the time with our families? I don't necessarily think that money is all that matters, but it does take money to provide for the things we need: food, shelter, and clothing as well as personal hygiene items.

It totally does as we need some time even for our-self to re energize and smell the coffee. As one phrase I live by is that we work to live and live to work. Something I learned with time.

Totally agree! The purpose of work is that you get to spend the money you made to get to play when you're done! Unless working is something you really do for fun and that your colleagues are your best friends. Nothing's worth a drink after work... and it's great to have fun after a long 5 days straight of work!
