home based study for cancer kids

I recently read from a local newspaper regarding an organization creating a project of home schooling children with cancer since most of the kids with this ailment had to stop from regular schooling due to chemotherapy. So with this project these children are given the chance to continue their education. I just hope this won't just be a present project but a continuing one because these children need it and could build their self confidence. Whats your say on this topic mylotters?

I think that programs like this are valuable beyond compare to children who are sick from cancer. Anything that helps these kids to feel normal and that helps them to keep pace with other kids their age is very beneficial. They are going through enough fighting a difficult disease and they, and their families, need all the support and assistance they can get.
