S.M.P. ( not sure if my acronym is correct) means " Samahang Malamig ang PASKO, translating it means a person, persons or a group of people who do not have wives, lovers , boyfriends or girl friends this Christmas so it's a cold Christmas.Seems to be a big fuzz this days in the Philippines. You believe this statement? what are your views? are you one of them? For me , it not need to be cold since we have parents, brothers, sisters, relatives etc..and some people just prefer to be alone, what about you ?

I don't like to be alone. We always go to our native place for celebrating Christmas. We usually enjoy our Christmas with our parents and relatives. My child enjoys this day with her cousins by making crib and X'mas tree. By the way, I have a doubt here - what have you written here as the full form of S.M.P. Which is the language that you have used here?

hi louievill no its not a cold christmas if you say are a widow, or widower or so one a s we all have children young or adult and friends I have my adult son and my best friend so no it will be a warm Chrismas even here in Gold Crest, Christmas good or bad is just what you make it, togetherness and warm feelings are better than a ton of cold gifts.Gifts are fine but it is Christ's birth that we are really celebrating.

Hi, louie. I saw that commercial too and it has become a hit since. Most of my friends would ask me if I am part of that said "organization". I told them that I don't have to be even if I am loveless because I have my family and I know it's common to say they complete me in a way. And I am settled for that for now while I am still fixing my life's priorities. Whoever is that person that God will give me, I will be thankful because by then, I am ready for a relationship. Nice discussion, Louie. Made me smile because it reminds me of that commercial where this lad is a frustrated suitor.

I'm single this Christmas, but it doesn't bother me. I don't get what the fuss about this SMP is. Christmas isn't about that, that's what Valentine's day is for, even if that holiday was created by Hallmark. I think Christmas would still be merry even if you're single. Not because you're single, you have to be alone on this day.

Christmas is the time of year when families and friends gather together. December is the perfect time to make amends to old differences with peers and relatives. The spirit of giving and sharing is very alive at this season too. We are very preoccupied in making our Christmas more memorable and meaningful with our beloved ones.So basically there is no such thing as "malamig na pasko" and no better time to have a warm season but December, the Christmas month. With or without partner, love is in the air.

Christmas is always warm when you have a family that loves you and you can be with them. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend is just a bonus. I think its cold when you have somebody and yet you cant be with him/her/them. So to those who are far from people whom they love, I hope you can find somehow to spend Christmas with a smile. :)
