Nowadays,as the Internet is so popular,a lot of people would like to send their festival wishes through the Internet. It is much easier and cost less. However I perfer to send paper cards to my friends because I think that they are more special and my friends can keep the cards in their drawers. So what is your opinion? Which way do you prefer?

The real cards have much more sentiment to them in my opinion. Being able to feel them and look at them when they are hanging up over the holidays is much more warming than the effect that ones sent online have. I send online cards to those friends that I have met online but to those offline, even if Imight have theitr email address, I still prefer to send a real card and I prefer to receive them too.

I agree. The real cards carry more sentiment and eomtion.People who receive the card will feel warm in heart. That is why a lot of people still stick to the tradition.

Hi sunshineyunlong, before owning my personal pc I sent Christmas and Chinese New Year, as well as birthdays by post office. Since I have possessed my own pc I rarely post festive card via post office anymore. I find it's extremely fast and convenient to send Christmas cards via internet. Moreover there are great amount of various designs of attractive festive cards are available on web. Most of them are free as well. And we don't have to worry our loved ones and friends won't receive the card on time Happy posting

One of the things in life I miss the most is letters and Christmas cards in the mailbox! Just the joy of having it in my hands, to read wherever I wanted to, to take it with me or save it..to know someone spent some time to do it. It is a custom of the past that is sadly being disinigrated with each passing year. It is a custom that I miss very much

I don't think that anything can replace the traditional Christmas cards in our household. Sending a card through the mail feels more personal and special then over the internet. Plus, we know quite a few people who are not computer savvy so it would be difficult for them to try and navigate their way online to see their card. We've always opted to use the card because we also like to write little blurbs on the cards too. It's better to see everyone's personalized handwriting because it gives it a unique quality. And lastly, we also like the cards because they are great momentos to keep. We treasure and keep all the cards we receive.

Some of my relatives whose age are older don't use computer and some even don't even have access to the Internet.so paper cards are the best choice.

I don't think anythign can really replace a real card. I love getting mail, as in snail mail. I love hanging up all the cards I get on my bulletin board. I like being able to look at them, and see a person who hand-wrote the card. It's a lot more personal than an e-mail or e-card if you ask me!

Cards can make people happy and it is a good way to get in touch with old friends. They will know that I always care about them even we are not in the same place.

I haven't sent Christmas cards by post for quite a long time. I like to send the E-cards much more since it won't cost you any fees. And it can deliver on time and it can even to send at a specific time. Besides, it is good for the environment. I love China

I dont like sending e-cards. If people send me e-cards then I usually dont even bother to read them. I am always afraid that if I open them that they could contain a virus and damage my computer. I love to take a picture of my kids each year and give everyone in the family and my friends Christmas cards. I give most of them out in person but some of them I send in the mail.

It does happens when we receive e-cards from strangers they may contain viruses. So we should be cautious.
