Hello guys, i got a question about how you cook the macaroni? I'm just cooking a breakfast and as always, i fry them before i boil them. This is how they become brown color and each piece of them is for itself, no puree or mashed macaroni at the end. We will have them with cheese this morning, and sugar and milk for my boyfriend. On the picture (i hope this picture will be loaded this time, because this is my 3th try to upload it here in the discussion) you can see how i fry them with little oil.

I guess the picture didn't load, because I don't see it here. I was hoping to see a picture of it, as I've never heard of frying the macaroni. It is interesting though as I don't know how it would taste considering that you still boil it after frying.

Hello Bounce, first little oil then the macaroni, after they become little brown, i put water. That's how the macaroni can't become pasta for sure, they stay little harder than usual, doesn't matter how long you boil them.

I have never heard of fried macaroni, it could be interesting. I am not really one to fry my food, but I will try new recipes on occasion. I guess it couldn't be any worse than fried ice cream.

Hello friend, i never eat fry ice cream, so i don't know the taste I fry the macaroni because they stay with their own shape, when i finish boiling them. They don't become a puree or like that.
