call with no Number!!! (private number)

Hello,
I totally hard when people call me in Private number, I even more hate when they dont talk and keep on calling me. grrrrr... I want to call back but I can't cuz there is no number for me to dial. I want to know why? if that is really privacy then use different number to call... I understand that some people dont want everyone to know their number, but at least talk when I pick up?
Could you please explain to me why? sometimes when someone called me and missed call. I call back and they act like im calling them for something :(.

There are sometimes programs that solicitors use that automatically dial a phone number, and I think many of them are just done in sequential order as we have an unlisted/unpublished number and still occasionally get these types of calls. Once someone answers the phone, then the call is switched to an actual salesperson, which saves several seconds to a minute per call, and that adds up over time. When I get a call from someone that does not respond immediately, I hang up, because just about every time I have stayed on the line for a little while I am answered by someone trying to sell me something.

Hey i have never received any such call, where the phone is private or public it must have number that will appear on my phone because of the caller id, lol i am really confused.

I don’t like not knowing who called me either but when it’s a private number I don’t bother even attempting to guess who it might be. When I receive a missed call from a number I don’t know I don’t bother calling back; if they want me badly enough they will be the ones to ring me again!

I have received some calls about a private or blocked number. I am not sure if the call was originated abroad. I am unable to callback as there is no number registered. But yes, these calls are quite annoying.

hi,
there were times that i received calls with private number displayed in the screen but the first thing comes to my mind is come from other country,but there are some lines here in my country that they used private number like in the bank and other offices so that people can not call back to the number.

I have read that if we get any unknown number,then we don't have to call back to that number.It can be dangerous.But i don't know about private number and also i don't get any private number yet.But before 2-3 years,i got one missed call having 12 digits,but i did not call back to that number.

If the number is a private number - or any number I don't recognise for that matter - I don't answer it. If it's important a message will be left.
