Hello friends, soon i met a french guy in internet, who is very interesting person. He is 32, he knows 5 languages, he lived in Honk Kong, just came back to Paris before one year. He is a lawyer and was going to night classes for finance in the past. He is such an interesting person with his french, japanese, chines, english and one other language, i just don't remember it now. He was soldier in one of the countries, who were in war in 1999 year, that's Kosovo, there people decided to make from one country - two countries, because the population was with two different nations. So i wanted to say ... only 32 and got more experience than some people has for whole their life... At the same time, i am 25, i know only two languages - bulgarian and little english. I have traveled to Romania and was there around a week, or two, on camping. Never been somewhere else, than Bulgarian. I don't have hight education from university, so i got no profession for sure, only hight school. I have never lived somewhere else than my own country and now i'm motivated to make a change for my life. To do something important, to go to university, or to learn some other language, or to start classes, just something like that. And now i want to ask you about your goals not for today, for the next few years. Do you have something in mind, before you reach 20, 30 or 40? For myself i just want, when i look behind, to have something to remember, to be proud that i achieved that, or the other thing.. Just for myself, not for the others.

Thanks a lot for sharing the information about such a versatile personality. Even I am 25 and I know only one international language,i.e. English. I do think being a European helps a lot in this regard (thanks to the formation of the European Union, which allows people to travel frequently across the continent without much hassles) I do have my goals set up before I reach 30, which are: 1. To complete a Masters Degree in Business Administration. 2. To get married :) 40, well, I have not really planned for that. Let's see how life treats me.

Hello friend, the topic is because there are a lot of people here, on different age. If you are still 25, it means that you may be plan to your 30 years, if someone is older than 30, may be plan yo 40. You got great goals. First sounds good, because you will have good future in the profession you choose. Second seems more difficult, because you have to find the right person. But i'm sure you will. Good luck.

hi suggar, Your post is very inspirational and interesting. While some people think that chatting over the internet is not good, others think the other way. I can say that I am a person who thinks other way. Just like you I met many foreigner friends over the internet and they are the one who makes me motivated to pursue my dreams. It also started when I joined a Language site. During that time, I am only interested in studying English. However, as time goes by I started to be curious on other languages like Spanish and Chinese. As of now I know few Chinese languages. It is only few because Chinese language for me is very difficult to study. With regard with my Spanish, I have many friends who can teach me the language and I am very lucky for it. I know more of Spanish languages than Chinese languages. I am now 26 so I will just say to you my goals before I reach the age of 30. Well, my goal is to be financially stable before the age of 30. I also would like to get married before I reach that age. I want to be the best teacher and finish my Masters. I also plan to go abroad. Before 40, I want to get a wonderful experiences on many countries. I want to already have a business of my own. I want to make an organization that will support children being abandoned by their parents. Well, those are my visions. Hopefully, with the help of God, I can make it.

Hun, i can say that it's so great that you started to learn languages, it's so important. When i was child, i started learning french, but it was difficult and i gave up. English i study from the children garden and i was very good as a child. Lately i forgot a lot of things, just because i didn't use the english. I want to learn japanese really much. It sounds so amazing to me, so old and interesting language. You got great goals to your age before 30. I wish you everything to happen the way you want it. And after 40 it's amazing what you say about the organization. I want to make one for the homeless animals, because in our country there are a lot of those, who are victims of cruelty. Thanks for sharing, it sounds so positive and full with feelings.

Thanks Suggar. What you said about the English language is true. I also experience same in my Spanish. I am just thankful that I have many friends who speak Spanish that talks with me. Because of them, I can still practice my spanish even I do not go to the Language site. So good that you love animals. I am somehow afraid of them because I had terrible experiences with them when I was a kid. An angry cow chases me in the middle of the field. I don't know the reason. When I got home, my mom said that it was because I was wearing a red short and animals with horns are angry on red. I was also almost bitten by a dog when I was a kid. Those things were really scary.

When i was little girl, one of my neighbors had cows and bulls, so i knew, every time he walked them out on the streets (on their way to the forest) i didn't go out of the garden. This is how i felt protected. And i've heard about the red clothes, that cows get crazy when they see that colors. I've never been bitten by dog, i always talk to the dogs and enjoy my time with them. I am gentle and i never push them, never go to them if they are afraid. Pets has pure emotions and you can feel their emotions if you watch carefully. May be this bad experience was because of the owners of the dog. If they were trying to make their dog a security for their own home, it's normal this dog to be mean and to bite if it is afraid or if it's trying to care about the home privacy. But usually dogs are not cruel animals. It depends of the owner. We are those who make them cruel, they are not cruel by nature. Dogs are great friends and they are loyal and full of love if they receive the right care and love too.

I too had such lofty dreams when I was young. I wanted to do a lot, and reach a lot of places. We were not rich by any means so I had to what I can to reach my dreams. So, I finished my education. And because I only had that to fall back on, I tried to use it to get to places I wanted. I've succeeded in moving my family to a better place, in order to give them a better future. I'm way past my deadlines, but I'm still trying to reach my dreams.

Thanks for sharing Bounce. It's the same with my friend - his reached everything by himself. It's very good that you finished your education. That's a window for the future.

He really has got a wonderful life experience. Everyone can have the same kind of achievement in our life if we wanted it. I don't mean going to war but in some other aspects. Life is not just about work, home, and marriage or relationship. There's more to all that in life. We need sacrifices in order to see achievements and goals. Like the frenchmen u met, is he married? I don't think so because with commitments, he won't be able to achieve so much. Many achievements are often achieved before we commit ourself to another person.

He was in the war, may be because he was in the army that time, for short. I don't know the exact reason, but i know that he is not a war lover. He told me that his family was really poor, this is why he was motivated to reach everything by himself.

Good goals, don't forget to put a period for everything, because usually people say themselves "i still got time, i still got time" and they don't feel how the time is flying.
