Work and SSDI

If you have bipolar disorder do you work? If not do you get SSDI? How hard was it to get it? Did you have to get an attorney? How bad are your mood swings?

I have bipolar and I work and I am trying to go back to school. I think that it depends on how severe the person has the disorder and what they are doing to help it. I think a great majority of those afflicted can still hold a job and have a regular life.
