Yes, you can buy a laptop at this price, however, you will have to check all the available options. First thing that you should do is try calling the shopping department of all the good computer manufacturing companies and check what is the minimum amount you need to buy a laptop of that company. Check with Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, Sony, Toshiba etc If you have a plan to buy a second hand good configuration laptop, make sure that you check its performance before buying it. Following are a few websites that you may find useful: www.shopping.hp.com www.shop.lenovo.com http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=16154&SR=nav:shop:computers:laptops:ss&ref=http://www.sony.com/index.php#/overviewTab Also, for next 15 days there will be so many offers available, I am sure you will get a good deal if you search for all the available options.

Hi there, are you okay to buy the second hand laptop or you prefer to get a brand new one? I am thinking USD$100 is not too achievable for a brand new laptop, as I have not seen any here. I've seen the cheapest new laptop for about USD$400.

Hi.. You can buy a laptop for 5000 pesos but definitely a secondhand Pentium 3 laptop with 256 mb of memory and around 20 gigabytes hard disk drive. no built in WIFI card. ( you will have to buy a USB wifi adanpter) i suggest that you keep your 5000 pesos and save 5000 more so that you can buy a decent net book.

You can just buy all parts of a laptop and then DIY,look for a friend who is good at putting a laptop together and then you put them together. In that way you can get a cheap laptop. In addition, when you putting the laptop together, you must be careful,if there is anything wrong, the laptop can not work well. What is more, buying a second hand laptop is also a good idea.

well, you won't get much of a laptop for $US 100 not if you are buying new anyway. As far as I know the cheapest laptop is in the $300 range give or take a bit. If thats all of your budget, I'd suggest looking at second hand machines or an old model that might not have the power and features of a modern machine, but will be cheap.
