Handsfree

Hi Mylotters, good day. These days, we often see some people using handsfree to chat with other people, their friends, colleagues etc. But I feel that using these handsfree could create a wrong impression to other people. You see, handsfree don't require you to hold your cellphone by your ear, just a wire will do. But sometimes, if people don't see it, they will think that, oh, that person is talking to themselves, he's a lunatic this and that. I don't know, but it just seems to me like that. It's only when people see the wire, then they will come to realize it. I feel quite weird though, LOL. What's your take on this?

Hiya Judge, I have seen a few People do that waving there arms around and all kinds of movements in the middle of the Street. Sometimes they are so close that you think that they are talking to you instead. Of course they have a Hands Free that is allowing them to be walking carrying their Shopping and talking away to the other Person at the same time. Truth to tell I see so many of them now I don´t take any notice as it´s quite normal for a Person to be passing you by and chatting away with one of those Hands Free gadgets. Don´t think there is anything wrong in it though I don´t think they are strange they are having a Conversation that is perfectly understandable. I find this happens more with Women who are taking their Children to School and then going to work afterwards. If I am in a Shopping queue this is normal for someone to seemingly be talking to themselves but they are chatting away to their Girlfriend or Boyfriend.

Hiya Judge, I find the Hands free Gadget great for use in the Car while we are out as well. There you don´t have to use a wire even just a speaker and that´s it. Only inconvenience is if anyone who is a Stranger is with you at the time and they can here everything you say.

Whenever I get to hear people talking too loudly and they don't have anyone near them at all to talk to, I would often assume that they are talking with someone on the phone, with a head set if not with those hands free accessories that most phones have now a days. Its quite normal to see them, and perhaps in time you would also get use to that. Still, they should at least apply some little etiquette when they talk on the phone.

Indeed, that can be really annoying. Especially those that seem to be talking too much and you can even hear the other person on the line to whom they are talking to. Most phones would have Loud speaker feature so that a lot of people can talk but, even when that feature is not turned on, it seems like they really want everyone to hear and know what they are talking about.. (-_-")

hi judgeironfist I think that people should not b e so quick to judge others and really wait to see that wire before making wild assumptions as otherwise they will make those first three letters out of themselves. I have seen enough people with handsfree to know what they have and not think anything wrong about them.

Agreed. However, some people are still too engrossed in their way of thinking, twisted in a way LOL!

It does really seems weird to see someone talking without holding their mobile phones about few years back, because blue tooth device is popular back then. When blue tooth device has got no wire at all, people around them won't know who that person is talking to, especially if a woman has got long hair, and the ear piece is hidden among her hair. NOw with the introduction of iphone, handsfree might to be out now, because everybody is eager to show the phone they are using.
