Have you slipped before? Not physically but with words... have you "accidentally" said something you shouldn't have or said something that you've confused yourself with? I have, I feel like this happens when I was not focused on the situation and I was just trying to just say anything.

I think that there are times where as people do tend to slip things out that they should not have done, but sometimes these are the people that do it on purpose.I have not done nothing like that as i am always on my guard, past experience tells me to think before i speak.

I'm always on my guard too but that sometimes counter attacks and makes me too nervous that I end up just blurting something I don't like... but it doesn't happen a lot, because I'll usually just keep my mouth shut anyway.

I have. I am very open and sometimes things come out that weren't meant in the way that they were taken..example....I saw my boss...older guy exercising..speed walking I thought next to a park near where I live. I see him the next day and I say...I saw you speed walking yesturday...he looks at me very seriously and says....I was running. Oh my...well...I saw you running then....LOL...a bit uncomfortable. That's one of my good mess ups..LOL.

Even i was in your shoes many times and i lost my final rounds ... a diplomatic answer would do wonders in these cases though
