Well, I know a lot of you can relate about this... I hate horror movies! I really can't stand watching horror movies or even the suspense ones. My friends and family really laughed at me because I will really cover my face and will even close my eyes!I'm 21 mind you and until now I just can't seem to overcome my fear. They used to me tell that I should watch a lot of it so I'll get used to it but I don't know, I just can't do it..:( Do you have fears of watching horror movies?.. And did you overcome it?..:)

I don't watch horror movies either. Even if my friends would pay my movie ticket for a horror movie, I would still not go. Because in my opinion, the more you watch these kind of films, the more you are letting your imagination wonder around, and the more you'll get scared. And i don't get anything out of it anyway. I will just let my self be scared while watching, but after that, nothing.

When I was young, I am always afraid of the dark. When I am alone in my room, I always have this fear. What I did to overcome this fear is simply watch horror movies despite the fact that I am afraid. After watching a few of them, I was able to overcome this fear and I no longer am afraid of the dark as well as on watching any horror movies.

I'm also scare of horror movies, but I really love watching them. It's really fun when you watch it with friends..But unfortunately, when I watch a real scary one, it gives me nightmares for weeks. but, it still doesn't stop me from watching them- American horror aren't really scar, Japanese horror- that's scary.

Before i became working adult, i like to watch horror movie especially ghost movie. But after i start work, i hate this kind of movie because i feel very stress and uncomfortable every time i watch horror movie. I think its because of life is full of pressure. I think its ok for you to hate horror movie because the purpose of watching movie is enjoy and relax. Why we want to force ourself to watch something which can make us uncomfortable, right?

Hey, I'm completely with you. I hate horror movies, too. I'm okay with some suspense, though. Just not horror. And, I don't have any plans to overcome my fear of them. I perfectly happy with being afraid of them and avoiding them because of it. Don't think I'm missing out because I won't watch a bunch of movies I wouldn't enjoy anyway.

That's pretty pathetic and even alittle sad. I love horror movies, thriller and suspense films. They are the greatest. I don't always want to know what is going to happen next. I don't care for boring moving that have nothing going on. Sure they are scarey and cause me to breath heavy and so forth but the alternative is the pits.

We have one thing in common with your post. I really hate horror, super. If i am forced to watch by my friends, i end up screaming each scenes of the movie and i would cover my face, LOL.. I been like this since i was a kid. i was not able to overcome the fear. I also don't like that movies with a lot of eating, cutting, screwing human parts. It's super, super hate and horrible. When i am with a group of friends watching this kind of movies, i end up the laughing stock, LOL, they find it funny with my reaction to the movie. I guess, the little child in us is still a child, hahaha, it never grow up when it comes to horror movies. =)

I totally love them! I love being freaked out...I agree though that the not being able to sleep after watching some of them isn't cool though. I know it's not real-that it's a movie and I try to keep reminding myself of that. Horror movies are my top favorite to watch because they're never boring!

Its real fun to watch horror movies all alone with a surround system .About to watch one regional movie "A Flat" which has got nice reviews and lets see if this has enough freaky elements. As of your fear --- you got to understand that each and every scene in movies aren't real...that's just plain acting. Its the sound effects which freak you out...so why dont you give it a try with your friends.I know one meaner who watches these horror movies round the clock and later gets freaked out with stupid thoughts.may be she should find her way out of those stupid imagining stuff before it ruins her empty brains.great day.

I like watching horror movies, but i like most are mystery and suspense one. When i was younger i hate watching horror movies because i could not sleep at night. i could not forget the scenes and even when i go to sleep i could still think of the scenes and i feel afraid. When i became older, my fear was gone because while watching, i keep on convincing myself that the scenes are not real.

I don't hate horror movies, but i don't love them as well. I just watch it when i feel like watching it or when most of the reviews from the ones who watch it already are good. I don't hide under my pillow nor close my eyes when a suspense scene come up. I might scream though. You can over come this fear when you don't feel that much horror in it. Think that what you are watching is just a movie and that the people in it are actors only. It's not true and its plainly for entertainment.

I love watching horror movies, the problem is, I can't quite understand the story and I seem to miss the most scary part because it really scares me that I end up hiding behind the pillows or just cover my ears. That way I won't be able to hear the horrifying DOLBY sound effects. It's not really the movie that scares me, it's the background sound effects. I just figured that out. ^_^

I think it's alright that you don't like watching horror movies. People have different tastes to the movies. As to me, I like watching horror movies. Actually only few horror movies make me feel scared. I like challenge myself and I am not afraid to watch the horror movies, even when I am alone. I love China

I love the old horror movies, but the new 'slasher' types are too gory for my taste. What's makes this really strange is that I write horror stories and still can't handle going through 'Saw I,II, III, IV, V, etc." I think you just have good taste in movies. Don't let anyone change you. I hate roller coasters. My friends used to tell me to ride them a few times and I would love them. I went to Glen Echol park, when it was still open, and rode their coaster six times. When I threw up after the sixth time, I decided the ferris wheel was more my style. Won't even ride a kiddie coaster today.

i have no fear at all when it comes to things like horror, thriller, suspense films, the scarier the better, i like things that can make me jump and things that are worth grabbing my attention. I do love a good scary film, there are many out there and i think that they are great to watch. An ex of mine is similar to you, she cannot watch anything like these at all and she is in her late 30's. I asked her to and although she tried it just scared her and so she couldn't finish watching the film, but we are all different, some are scared of things like that, we all have different tastes and these types of films just aren't for you.

hi mikyle..... Horror movies some people may even don't watch horror movies because of their fear towards them and and some people may not bear the violence which is present in the horror movies and the people who are taking these horror movies must note down about these matters and they must keep this in their minds and must not take such type of movies so everyone will be able to see these horror movies..........
