Have you wondered why some people so successful, and you are not?

When I work at the production side of the building, I always wonder why some people are so successful, they built a billion dollars empire, and start a business from their garage. Why I didn't come up some idea so brilliant, and I don't know much? I try to learn something, but it took me at least a couple of days to figure it out, or never. I want to work hard, and I have no problem with that, but I am not smart that is for sure. I also want to take my opportunity to try it out there. Whether success or fail. What do you think?

is money the sole determining factor for how successful we are? maybe for some, maybe not for others. as for me the most important factor that decides how successful we are is how satisfied we are. if i'm able to live happily and satisfied, doing the things i love to do with peace of mind, then that's what is a very successful life for me. and that's what i aspire to be. i don't have to be a millionaire or billionaire. i just want a quite corner of the world to reside with enough earnings to support me and my family and be able to do the things i love doing. i just wanna be satisfied with what i have and what i do. then i'll consider myself successful.

Maybe! we all say that but the minute we get something we want something else.True some people are satisfied with a little or a lot,but most of us want more and more.For example i came to this country with nothing clothes on my back and said all i need is a job to pay for rent.Slowly i wanted more and more and got it.I am not rich but comfortable.That still doesn't stop me for wanting more,i guess it is human nature or greed.

yeah, very true. the more we get, the more we want. even me i'll want to have more money if i can. but if it's gonna cost me my peace of mind and satisfaction, then i'd rather abandon the money. i've experienced situations where i felt peace of mind is the most important thing for me at the end of the day. and i'm sure it's not gonna change. money or peace of mind - i'd choose peace of mind; if there's a third option as 'both money and peace of mind', i'll definitely choose that, lol!

Everyone is unique. Some people can make a fortune, while others can not. So the most important thing is what kind of person you want to be and what kind of life you want. Always ask yourself about these questions,you will balance your emotion. Hope you will be better.

LOL I've thought about this before, totally.It sucks that we all just can't get that lucky (although I'm sure it took a lot of work for some of these 'successful people'). I look more at like "realistic" successful people - not billionaires who came up with million-dollar ideas, but people who make a good amount with some white-collar career. I desperately want to turn into one of these types of people! But as far as right now, I have NOT put the necessary effort into it.

I am always thinking about something to make money or come up with an invention but i haven't come up with anything yet.I will let you know if i come up with something lol...We can't all be smart or the same way.We all have a role in life who knows what?

Well, they just happen to be in the right place at the right time. We can have all the talents and ideas, but if we are in the wrong place and time, nothing much will happen. Some people just happen to be there when the opportunity for such growth was available. But I don't want to think much about this especially this X'mas. I like to think that I am also successful in my own small way.

Hi there kingparker.
In fact I always thought of that. Look the the Facebook co-owner now. He is one of the richest in the world and now, being awarded as most successful person in 2010. What do you think? Creating such a small thing but can be successful and making and changing lives forever.
I myself am going to try out something (a new career, new industry) and I do hope I will be successful. I know I got to take the chance!

Attitude is one of the factor why other succeeds and most do not. Even if you are talented and wise if you do not have the right attitude on things and decision you will not be able to succeed. The best example of a man who succeeds because of his right attitude is Thomas Edison,he had the famous quotation, "I have not failed, I just found 10 000 ways that do not worked" and having that quotation which marks his right attitude he succeed in his invention.
You can be successful, just be patient and have the right attitude with a mixture of perseverance and work.
