I do believe in God and know for a fact that there is a God in Heaven. I know that we were all created by God. I have been told by a few that they don't believe in God! And some believe that we all evolved from something. This really confuses me. I get up every morning and look outside and can see Gods creations ! How can one not believe in God? Is it because they feel they are not blessed? Is it because they had a hard life? Life can be happy or it can be hard depends on what we do in our lives to deserve happiness! Some of us have had it really hard and think that God isn't looking over us. But that is the time that God is right there so we can lean on HIM and ask for HIS help! God don't like whimps HE wants us to stand up and ack like good Christians! So what is your belief? Do you think that we came from say like apes? Do you love The LORD? Or do you think there is no God?

As a young child growing up I was forced to go to church every Sunday morning. I didn't like it at all and thought it was a waste of time. However, as I reached my 20's I started to pray to God and felt a connection towards him. I went to church with my girls and I had my two girls get baptised, receive communion and confirmation. Then I stepped away from the church due to on the scandal concerning some of the priests. Then in my 40's I started to go to church again wanting to believe in my God and feeling really good about church again. Then on 9/11 I knew for sure that there was a God. As I was running down the stairs of the World Trade Center and thought to myself that I wasn't going to make it out I heard a voice in my ear. It was a female saying "Janet you have to get out of the building." She repeated this three times in my ear. I ran faster then ever and got out and I believe that was my guardian angel that was sent by God to protect me. I now pray constantly to him. I would go to church every sunday but living in Puerto Rico the church is far away so I go to a chapel at a monostary and pray there on my own. Plus I pray to God twice aday at home. I do believe with all my heart that there is a God, and miracles that happen everyday and it would be wonderful if more people did believe. I believe if more people believed this would be a wonderful world. I have been so blessed by God since 9/11 even losing friends and co-workers that day he has brought me strength and courage to go on and live a good life happy and contented.

I get what you're saying and I don't really have a view on God, one way or another..just that there's SOMETHING..like good battling evil on a daily basis..but can you tell me why you were singled out on 9/11 and so many others perished? This is the bit I'm finding hard to grasp.

First to Janey1966 - I cried and cried for the longest time over that horrific day. Not being able to sleep wondering why I was saved and my friends who had still little kids was not. I believe part of the reason might have been because then my daughters would have no parents at all. I also believe that when its your time, that God wants you with him and that I had things left to do on this earth for God and my family. Second to free_man - Thank you for your kind words. I never heard about the "first earth age" could you fill me in on how to get more info on that subject. Sounds very interesting. Thank you once again. God Bless!

Hi Lelin. I believe in God and know when someone is spared it is because we have a mission to do for our FATHER IN Heaven. There are three earth agaes. There was one that was when the devil got jealous and caused God to destroy that first earth age. Then God created this earth age and when the devil comes claiming to be christ that will be the end of the second earth age and that will start the third earth earth age. Try 2 Peter 3 and it will tell you of all the earth ages. But if you really want to know more about it I suggest you listen to the teacher of Gods word and if you don't get the answer you want I suggest you write that man he can tell you more about the bible then I have ever heard in my life. And I have been in church since I can remember but none taught how this man teaches. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm When I found him I was really pissed at my ex and I turned him on and couldn't take my eyes and ears off the way he was teaching Gods word. Heck until I started listening to this man I didn't even know there are 3 earth and heaven ages. I had never been taught the way he teaches.

Hi dear, Day by day people asking the same question ‘Do you believe in God?’ The reason why is people have faith still they are doubtful. Because we are following certain principles and set of faith based on certain religion, wherein all are set for ready. If I ask that one person who is live alone in a island, and after 30 years of age, somehow we manage to ask him the same question, (may be any language or gesture), what could be his answer? He say no. Why? Because he had no trace of anything and he has not told by anyone about a God or a devil. Why we are believing in God? Because, we are told by someone and we heard from others, books, stories, and from various other sources. Let it be, suppose, today I took a nice photo of the God, whom I am believing as God and took it to one of my friends home, and his religion and faith is different. I entered into his home as usual, and after some time, I am asking him to remove the photo of his God, which is placed on the walls, and asking him to place the one what I bought. Suddenly, he change the mood and saying me furiously, it is not possible and I will not allow you to remove the picture of his God and he cannot do it. Ok, I said, let it be on the once side, but keep the photo of the God, what I have bought it for you. He denied and asking me to stop the topic, and if you don’t have anything to tell, you can go back. I smiled, and took and packed the photo of my God and come back. Now you can assure that what is happened here. He denied God. All are telling that God is one and known in different names. Here it comes my God and your God. All Godly things are acquired and if someone does not told you, you will not never come to know only. Also, as someone told you about the same, it is not necessary that it should be also. I am not telling you anything that yes or no. But if there is, it is and if not – it is. Thank-s

Hi Thanks. I asked if people believed in God because I wanted to hear what others thought. I just find it strange that people don't know about God! It amazes me how people can't see God in everyday life! I can look around me and see what God has made! And don't understand how everyone can't see the beauty of this world! I see ugly but I know that the ugly is only because of the evil in this world! I wouldn't go into anyones home and defile it if I knew that they didn't believe in my God I wouldn't be at their home in the first place. If you try to share Gods word and you are told that they don't want to hear it then we need to shut our mouth and leave and shake the dust off our feet for we don't want to carry any evil from that place with us. If we go to someone and try to talk about God and won't shut up even though we were asked not to speak about God then the person has every right to slap us and we should turn the other cheek to let them slap that side too. But if we are innocent of any guilt and some one hit us we should stand up and knock them on their bottoms. Christians are not second hand citizens ! We don't give ground we take ground.

Hi dear, Even though I am not a Christian by birth, I know very much about Him. We were a single family among 100s of Christian families and I got from the very birth and till date with a life patter of Christianity. Even though I cannot agreed with some of the principles of Christianity, I love and follow the principles of Jesus Christ and He made so much of influence in the formation of my character. The entire world has their own faith and concepts on faith based on their religion. So, it is upto every individual to where they need to concentrate. But the ultimate aim is the same and one. Let be people live with their own concepts because we are no one to make any change in the social system. I am sure that there are millions of people not even heard of Jesus Christ!! Imaging the fact and start from there. And out of those who know about Him also are not willing to even listen about him. Feel strange, but it is a fact. In this way, so many good things are ignored or don’t get noted. So, we can be happy that everything has its own identity and all generations and human beings are looking on a power, that we call God and we can relax that all are praying to God in a different way, different language, different though – but all are reaching to one place. Amen. Thank-s

we are a species of ape. this isn't something to be ashamed of. isn't it incredible and beautiful that once there were only single celled organisms, increasing through cell division, and eventually multiple celled organisms, and each tiny change dictated by environmental needs leading to us being here today. isn't that miracle enough? I do beleive in Gods. I have lifelong relationships I have built between me and the Gods. this is not diminished by knowing that I am an animal on a branch of evolution that stems from other types of ape. we are a part of nature. not apart from it. it saddens me that there are people ashamed of the fact that they are a species of animal.

I believe in one God, It's Allah. It's not human. If there's no God in the world, no body will be good. The good things will be disappeared. If we believe, we will try to be good. There r two choices in this life, good n bad. God will lead u to be good. It doesn't mean u will be rich all the time in this life if u believe in God. And it doesn't mean u will be poor if u don't believe in God. In God way, u will understand the meaning of this life.

What is happening in the world around us is not because God is neglecting us. It is because we as a nation have turned our backs on God. We fail Him, not the other way around.

Hi Caduceus and welcome to my lot. None of us understand without trying to find out more. You want to know there is a God then I suggest you listen to this man http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm I was lucky I was brought up in a Christian home with a strict mother. I didn't understand why I had it so hard in my youth and growing up. I was a lost soul too till I found that man and he taught me the truth about Gods word. I feel the presence of God everyday.

We did come from evolution. God is a concept we the humans created. Look at any religious scripture. It was written by a human and called a revelation of God! There is no record of God himself writing a scripture for us, to my knowledge. These scriptures are important though, for us to know good from bad. But scriptures need to be re-interpreted every now and then, to keep up with the changing social circumstances. Basic concept of God is of humanism. If this comes to you naturally, it is rationalism and if you learn this from scriptures it is religion. Take your pick.

I think a person can't be truly happy without trusting God. Yes, I do believe in God and I love the Lord. Although we have never found so many fossils that can prove evolution. It's there, it's like gravity. I think evolution exists but thats how god planned it. Call me crazy, but thats what I believe in.

Hi Ivancdp and welcome to my lot. I don't see any evidence that we evolved from one organism. To each their own!
