Hi All, After being left out for the second Ashes test, Mitchel Johnson seems to have taken it to the heart. Going by his performance so far in the third test, it looks as if he will single handedly guide Australia to a series leveling victory in this test. He has already scored 62 in the first innings for Australia and was the highest scorer. And then he did his main job of bowling by claiming 6 wickets of England to establish a firm grip on the match for Australia. Truly, man of the match stuff though there is plenty of cricket left. But , What a Comeback!!

I think it was a smart move by the Aussie think tank to drop him from the last match. That allowed him time to go back to the Nets and correct the mistakes that he was committing. His bowling hand was falling off and that meant that he was not getting proper swing. Once he corrected it, everything fell into place. In fact, his spell yesterday is being hailed as one of the best Ashes bowling performance. Cheers! Ram

Mitchel Johnson has truly turned around not this match only but the entire Ashes series. What a turn around for Australia. Till yesterday the series was going only one way, The England's way but now it appears Australia is going to win not only this match but also the series. The dropping of Mitchel Johnson must have hurt his ego and effected tremendous turn around with no wicket for 200 odd runs to 6 wickets in one innings can be considered as greatest turnaround for a baller. Perth wicket must have also helped him.

Ya definitly. Johnson made a dream comeback after droping from team. Aussies were struggling with their bowling, and now Johnson gave them the strength. And he scored a valuable 62 runs which helped Aussies to pass 200.
