Champions League round of 16 draw

After the draw, I was so sick of the matchup. Arsenal got the worst draw they can get as they are drawn with Barcelona. Thou I am a fan of the Gunners, I think this will be the end of their Champions League journey this season. The draw also see a repeat of last season's final. This time thou, Inter Milan is not the force they were. After they ran Inter Milan ragged during the group stage, Spurs will face another team from Milan, AC Milan. As for Chelsea, if anyone saw one of my earlier thread whereby I have predicted that they will get FC Copenhagen, the easiest draw of the lot, I was proven accurate. AS Roma v Shakhtar Donetsk AC Milan v Tottenham Hotspur Valencia v FC Schalke Inter Milan v Bayern Munich Lyon v Real Madrid Arsenal v Barcelona Marseille v Manchester United Copenhagen v Chelsea

I was sure that Bayern will have to face Inter, because they to revenge the last season's final. And I am 100% sure that Bayern will qualify without too many problems. My other predictions are: Shakhtar, Tottenham, Schalke, Barcelona, Lyon, United and Chelsea. I think that United and Chelsea will have tough games, if somebody watched Copenhagen knows what I am talking about. And Marseille can make lots of problems to any team. Arsenal seems hopeless against Barcelona(like any other team in this world), Shakhtar is better than Roma in my opinion, Tottenham will take advantage at home of the weak defense of Milan, Schalke has a strong team which will be much better in the second part of the season, Lyon has always beaten Real. Will see if I am right.

Yes, Bayern would love to avenge their loss to Inter last year. I think this time Bayern have the advantage as Inter do not have the tactical brain of Mourinho to support them. Cheers! Ram

Inter Milan is going through a hard time so I think Bayern Munich will get this. As for your prediction, the only one that I disagree is Tottenham. AC Milan is now enjoying some form and they should be experienced enough to handle Tottenham.

My Prediction are: Tottenham, Bayern, Barcelona, Roma, Madrid, Schalke, United, and Chelsea. The choice between Tottenham and AC Milan are the most difficult. AC Milan has a lot of experience compared to Tottenham in the CL. But, with the help of Rafael van der Vaart, I hope that they can beat AC Milan. But, if Rafael VdV is injured, I think they cannot get past AC Milan.

bad luck for Arsenal! i'm a United fan and i'm happy that they could avoid Barca. hope they can go on to win this seasons competition as well as the Premier League and overtake Liverpoolas the all-time leading league champions. i also hope Spurs can go all the way to reach far in the European theater.

i think the first time, as AS ROMA fans, iam happy... shakthat is good clubs but i think we can beat them.. lyon will beat again madrid...even madrid now have a calibre coach like mou...lyon is disaster for Madrid..

I remember twice that Lyon and Real Madrid met each other and both times, Lyon came up top. Will be be third timing lucky for Real? I would think so.

It is the most interesting that Arsenal meets Barca,Fabricas will come to Barcelona,maybe that will make up new story. let's wait.Barca is so strong that they will win and then get the title.another match is Inter meets Bayern.Inter does not like a tiger but an illed cat this season,so I thing Inter will go home.

Yes, it will be interesting to see Fabregas performances and reactions when he face Barcelona whom he so nearly joined during the off season.

LOL Bayern are facing Inter! Get in there Man United are playing Marseille we are going to whip them! I really hope that Spurs beat AC Milan I sort of have a secret liking for them. Arsenal vs Barca will be a good one rematch of the 2006 Champions League final Arsenal would love to get revenge on Barcelona for beating them in 06!

ac milan have a great enemy on this round. a lot of great player in tottenham hotspur.. i'm affraid ac milan cant go to the next round... but i think milan still have a great champions mentallity.. Forza Milan..!!!!!
