Hi Mylotters,I guess we have lots of to do in mylot and one of it is uploading photos so i guess some of you do it apart from replying to discussions and starting new discussions. So can some one tell me how many photos can we upload a day is there any limits or unlimited and how much approximately can i expect out of it.I just want a approximate value as we don't know how the earnings are calculated.

The photo earnings and or limits are not really clear in my opinion of the guidelines. I have uploaded a great many of them on one given day and yet to get the message that I exceeded. I have asked other long time myLot members and they too are not too clear on the photo guideline rules. I will pay attention to your discussion to see what others may have to say. I believe the earnings for them also depends if others comment on them after you upload and or use them in their initial discussions, but again I am not too clear of the full rules.

I have to be honest, I don't know what the numerical limit the system places on images per day, but it is high enough so that most members have never gotten the dreaded message telling them to "try again tomorrow". While photos are a way to earn, we encourage them as a compliment to discussions rather than the main focus. Face it, if all one had to do to earn was up load a bunch of pictures, Mylot would not be a place to find very substantial discussion, right?

In other words they're just not that important. If it adds to your discussion you're free to upload. By the way alice/alex could you ask the devs to add an 'upload through url' option? Please? Saves me from having to download the pic to my pc first. Or does this defeat the purpose of mylot?

Hello ashwinanand, You can't upload an unlimited number of photos in a day. In order to prevent abusing this feature, myLot limits the number of photos to be uploaded. The maximum number is not known, but when you exceed it you will receive a message that will invite you to try again the other day. Nobody can tell you how much you will earn from uploading photos, as the earning algorithm is secret and we are not supposed to talk about it. But be sure that you'll figure out yourself how much you earn for your photos. Just participate with relevant photos and you'll see your earning increase. Good luck!
