Portable or Stationary? Which suits you best?

I've been dreaming of having a laptop before when I was a kid. The thought of a stationary computer was, more or less, a heaven for me. The fact that I do play computer games is that I'd really enjoy it but now that I've reached the point that I had been able to get a laptop. I've been staying more on my desktop and I kind of appreciate it more than the idea of being portable. Desktops suits me better due to the fact that I do enjoy the luxury of my home and I usually only use the laptop for school works or important things. I don't enjoy the feeling of playing publicly since I kind of invite unwanted attention and I really don't enjoy too much attention from people.

Definately desktop! Just because of the fact that I don't have to be anywhere else with a computer, and laptops crash alot easier, desktops live longer! Happy Holidays!

I prefer always desktop over portable computers, desktops are more comfortable to use and could be much powerful than laptops, I only use my laptop for simple tasks and if really I need to carry it to some other place, in my house i always use my desktop.

Even if you're at home I suggest that you use your laptop instead of desktop to save of energy power. Desktop consumes a lot of electricity. I have a desktop too but now i'm not using it anymore even when i'm at home and my laptop surpasses the specs of my desktop too. So I save on energy since i can work without having to plug my laptop too. And mind you i work in my laptop for more than 12 or even 14 hours in a day.

For me since I am always on the road, I will definitely choose anything being portable. May it be for work, fun or something that may make me preoccupied while I am traveling...hehehe...

For me a laptop is nice and easy to have everywhere but im a gamer and a desktop that you build scratch is better because you get more for the money with compared to an laptop. And I also like big screen and that would be a bit clumsy on a laptop. Just got my new Benq 27" screen to my dekstop, really sweet :D
