I miss Iloilo so much! We went there without an itinerary. When we arrived there, we saw a blog site that contains all the local food that Iloilo has to offer. We just followed it and ate as many as we could. We stayed there for 4 days (1 night in Iloilo and 2 nights in Guimaras). And that is the first time I traveled out of town and just spent less than PHP5,000 for all of the expenses.

We were just there a week or 2 weeks ago. I really enjoyed my stay there. It seems so peaceful and I was enjoying the greenery around the island. You can go around the island for one day. So 2 days there would be enough. I love the white sand bar there and the waterfalls and the cold springs. I would have loved to trek the dormant volcanoes but I only spent 3 days there so my time was not enoug...

My kind of group! Even though I work in a travel agency, I also prefer to do it myself and go backpacking. I only avail those tour packages when I am with my aunts and older people. So it there would be someone else who will assist me in case of emergencies.

Nice and innovative as I might say. I haven't been to a library lately but with what you have described, it changed my perception of what a library is. It sounds cool and fun for learning.

Actually, I was just guessing what sci fi movie did i see that kind of technology...hahaha... Or maybe that belongs to a futuristic movie from Tom Cruise? Bu I remember seeing one I just don't remember what movie that was...hahaha...

That is a possibility. There might be libraries in the future but with a different concept. We might also be seeing a cafe type of library just what some bookstores are trying to introduce now.

Actually, I opened this discussion due to a post made by my friend a few days ago... He posted why are there no one selling encyclopedias anymore. I just remembered that encyclopedias were the main books inside a library back then. So I wondered, what would become of libraries if less and less publications are producing books.

For me, traveling alone is the ultimate adventure. hahaha... You don't know what will happen and who will you meet. It is not that it is lonely, it is how you go around and make new friends. I have friends like yours. They want comfort but I want to explore and go around more. So sometimes it is better to travel alone.
