Yes,this is true.Three brothers, all childhood friends of mine with whom i had played during my schooldays passed away in this year. The first to go was my school classmate,my childhood buddy and friend till the last who expired on 8th Jan barely 5 days after we had spoken to each other.then this month his elder brother, whom i was very close to expired on 1st of this month and exactly 15 days later, ie on the 16th of this month the middle brother with whom i had not been touch for over 30 years also passed away. Two years ago their elder sister passed away suddenly. Now only the youngest sister is remaining who stays in USA. She had com for the condolence visit of her eldest brother but received a shock when the middle brother, elder to her passed away too. Has anything like this happened to you?In fact last year i lost my cousin and his wife one day after the other,my cousin passing away in the morning followed by his wife the very next evening.

I am so sorry to hear about your losses and so close and then these brothers. There is a movie about three brothers that are all in the war. Two are killed and a soldier is ordered to find the third and keep him out of harms way. Did these brothers have some disease in their family that was handed down? Nothing like this has ever happened to me.

That is strange. I would still wonder if there were any similarities.

How sad and how very strange. It must be a shock to all those close to the family when such things happen. Nothing like that, has ever happened to me. I have lost my Mum and that was bad enough. My dad is still with us at 97 years of age.

Wow ! 97 and still going strong. Yes, the older generation has a life span of 80 plus whereas our generation and the current generation is doubtful of ever reaching that age.Your dad may score a century, who knows. Thanks for the comment.

My goodness...Your cousin passed in the morning and his wife the next evening? That is so very sad, I am so sorry...It must have been a tremendous shock for the family to lose both so close together. Your three friends passed away within days of each other and that is so tragic too. I have never had anything like that happen to me. Each Christmas I think about my dear mother law who passed two years ago; thankfully no one followed her...I am sorry for your losses, you have my condolences...

Nothing like this has ever happened to me at all. This has got to be so strange for them all to die so close to eachother and also for them to be closely related. I feel so sorry for the younger sister, to see all those close to her basically die around her, what a shocking time for her.

Stranger things have happened, friend. However the youngest sister, who is a doctor in USA , has taken it philosophically. The only thing is that she has lost all her siblings at one go,which is unfortunate.I do not think she will ever come back to India again. Thanks for the response.
