Is it just me or do they purposely pick at least one person that is so annoying?

I don't think they throw them in but there are just some who want to be the big ME person. They have attitude that is rude and nasty and there is no good reason other than either a personal pitty party poor me I cannot be responsible for how I got this way or else they think they should win at all costs and it is about the money not losing weight. Money is nice it can help but the point like Bob and Jillian over and over point out. They are there first and foremost to lose weight and learn how to keep it off. I want to go on the show. I applied once over a year ago did not get picked. Right after that our family lost our four year old grandson/son in a tragic auto accident. So have not been doing much to re-apply. But I am getting back to my goal to lose weight and keep it off. I gained about 13 lbs of 38 I lost partly due to I injured my left knee and was on crutches for 4 months. January 3rd Hubby, myself, my son and his fiancee and my brother and sister in law are starting recreational aquatic aerobic fitness class. That is how I lost the weight before and it worked well. Getting back to that so come spring I can walk with hubby and do more. I have watched most the shows and you are right there is always one or two who are just down right mean spirited and or lazy.

I believe I've actually watched only 3 full seasons. Season 8 it was Tracey who got on everyone's nerves. Season 9 was Melissa.. just her, not so much her husband. This season it seemed there were a lot of game players, but I agree Brandon was the worst. Frado was a big game player too, but I still liked him better than Brandon. I was so mad that Elizabeth kept being saved over and over.. and she wasn't trying very hard to lose the weight at all. She didn't deserve to be there, and the people that were kicked off because she was saved certainly worked hard to be there. I almost wish every elimination was left up to America's votes instead of allowing the players to vote.. or maybe a 50/50, like our votes would count for half every week.

I have often wondered that myself, and wonder who it will be this next season getting ready to start Jan. 4th. I do admit that Melissa was very annoying, but to me Brandon was worse. I absolutely was very Glad to hear when he got knocked off and to me I cannot imagine him being able to keep off the weight at all, and having to many of the other players wanting to keep in contact with him. Personally it would be nice if people could only concentrate on weight loss, and not everything else and let this show get back to being Fun.

Well, you gotta remember that this is television, and if it's boring, no one will be interesting. So of course they add annoying people like that to spice it up, to make it interesting. I didn't think so much that Brendan was annoying, but I thought Burgandy was. She was constantly nagging about everyone and it wasn't really enjoyable watching her while doing that. Who do you think besides Brendan was annoying?
