I mostly eat porridge and sometimes other cereals for breakfast as I find that this is the healthier option. A few years ago, I would eat rather stodgy breakfasts and then I had a heart attack through too much fatty food in my system, to I changed to porridge and cereals as they help me to keep my blood cholesterol lower and less likely to clotting. _Derek

I like light breakfast, usually coffee and after it fiber, fruits and yogurt. But i have bad habit with the eating and when i drink coffee, i don't feel hunger at all, so that kind of breakfast happens really rare.

I guess that with me it depends. Sometimes i wake up late and so i skip breakfast altogether. Sometimes i don't feel that i want much so i have a small bowl of cereal. Then there are times where i am absolutely starving and so i will make bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and toast. No matter what i always make sure that i have a cup of coffee in the morning. Brekfast is important so i do try to not skip the meal.

I like to eat breakfast on the bed. Having a tree tall view as background. A hot cold coffee. 3-4 pieces of pancake with a honey and a tons of strawberries on the side of the plate and a touch of butter on the top of th pancake.

During the week I really don't eat breakfast because I work so usually I'll bring some kind of fruit and cereal to eat at work. But on the weekends i'll have toast, eggs and sausage for breakfast. Sometimes I'll make french toast or pancakes. But I always don't eat breakfast either as I like to sleep in so when I wake up it's usually closer to lunch time. I know it's good to eat breakfast because you can function better but I never listen to that rule.

normally a light breakfast maybe a bowl of cereal or some toast with a glass of juice or milk. As otherwise i do not feel good and just want to go back to bed.

that would depend on 2 things. one, if the food is good and two, if my day would require me energy or not. Of course, we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but most of us usually skip it and exchange the time to prepare and eat breakfast for more sleep. In my opinion, your sleepiness is probably due to the intake of carbohydrates as there have been studies where they compared carbo and protein effects on the body. They found out that carbohydrates cause drowsiness in the subjects after 4 hours of eating it. Technically, carbohydrates and proteins provide 4 calories per gram of it (whereas fat is 9). So the only difference in the carb and protein is that their study showed that eating carbohydrates causes drowsiness in their subjects. An example of this would be the afternoon or after lunch drowsiness we often feel. Because we eat a breakfast of bacon and eggs (protein and fats) and rice (carb), we usually eat more rice than the protein, and that makes us "sleepy" by lunch time (approximately after 4 hours upon eating the breakfast).

I like heavy meals, rice and dish. I need that to be in good condition while working. It makes me full enough to give me energy to work. I don't drink coffee.

The best breakfast ever is cereal and milk, its something that can't be beat by anything. I admit that a good omelet and some side meat (bacon, sausage links, etc.) might be a good breakfast but it's time consuming to create. Cereal can be put into an empty bottle, add some milk and you have breakfast on the go. Too me cereal is just a convenient, yet nutritious means of a great breakfast.

I like the staple medium breakfast which consists of whole grain bread, butter, omelette, coffee/tea, fruit juice. It is nor too heavy nor too light.
