Here I am all alone by myself. It is so cold outside, and my friends are in another town. I am glad that internet keeps me company. Have you had a Christmas eve by yourself?

Christmas is all about friends and family! Why, don't you have someone to spend it with at all?

Never. I think I have too many relatives! It's especially crowded in the house during the holidays because we all try to come home. I don't know if I want to be alone during this time since I haven't tried it. I am not a very sociable person and I am more comfortable with smaller groups. In fact, I wish our relatives (whom I only see during Christmas) would leave us alone. Am I being bad?

No, I've never had a Christmas eve to myself. My mother's family always gathers on Christmas eve, and it's very important to my grandmother (my mother's mother) that the entire family be there. I don't feel that I can miss, because I love her and I know how important this is. I do hope that at some point I might be able to have a Christmas eve to myself, but for the time being, that's not happening.

I'm sorry to hear that. But that doesn't mean you can't have a merry Christmas of your own... Or re-schedule to do somethign with your friends/family later. I'm here, on Christmas Eve, by myself, just chilling, watching some TV, eating some tacos..LOL. It's really not that big of a deal to me if I'm not around others. We have our actual celebration tomorrow evening. But it definitely feels weird treating today, Christmas Eve, like any other day.

I haven't had such experience before. I guess you're feeling quite lonely right now. But, like you said, it's good that you have access to Internet, so you still can communicate with friends. Although a physical presence of your dearest ones can't be replaced with anything. I hope you'll find a way to enjoy this special day! Merry Christmas!

This is the first year ever that I will not be with my loved ones. I am home with my boyfriend and he is on his computer and I am on mine. We have a big day planned tomorrow as things did not work out for today. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and hope you can get some cheer soon.

I was in grade school when I atended the world jamboree from Dec 23 to Jan 3 which was held in Manila way back in the 70s. My scoutmaster ordered me to fetch water from a river which was located in a place that he just pointed to me and I did not know. I kept walking until I could not find my way back to the camp and had to spend my christmas eve alone in the forest. It was early next day when I was rescued by scout rangers who were alerted by my superior.
