Christmas gifts.

Now that Christmas is over, it is time for you to share what are the gifts you have received this Christmas. Some might have received the gifts which they yearned for and some might have also received some gifts which they hate, so dont you share it with us people who have not celebrated Christmas,I will be very happy to know what you have received for Christmas.

My husband and I mostly received joint gifts, a fruit basket from our son's girlfriend, a set of dish towels from a neighbor, a large gift bag of various wrapped goodies (mostly cookies and candy) from another neighbor, a couple of stuffed Christmas tree ornaments from an ex-neighbor, and a small bag of groceries with a $25.00 gift card to a local supermarket. It isn't that our neighbors think we are in need of food. It's just that we are an elderly who already have everything we need and don't care to go out much. The only personal gifts we received were from our daughter. She sent her dad a couple of shirts, which he did need. His favorite shirt was badly frayed, but he wouldn't let me buy another one like it. He had other shirts in his closet, but he liked that one. Now he has 2 favorites. My gift from our daughter was a bible cover with a pretty Thomas Kinkade picture printed on it. My old one was coming apart. However, what I didn't tell her is that I had already ordered a new bible cover, a plain black leather one. It just hadn't arrived yet.

Well, that is why we love daughters. She knew correctly what to send to you.Well what have you and your husband given in return to your daughter apart from your love. I can see from your response that you must love your daughter very much.
The other thing I really like is your sons girlfriend has given you a good gift.

At my husband's insistence, for the past several years we have just sent our children money to buy for their family. I miss selecting gifts. Yet, at the same time, I don't miss the uncertainty of trying to buy for teenagers. Our daughter always tells us what "my husband and I" bought for her children and how pleased the y were. This y ear, we got a hoodie with ear phones for her middle daughter. I didn't know that they made any such thing.

I got a Ragdoll kitten that i have always wanted when i was a child.It was a great gift and we have namd him Winter as he is mainly white, with a bit of like orange, he is classed as a Red Pointed Ragdoll as he has red ears, red tail and the rest of him is all white and fluffy.I had lots of other gifts from other family and friends.

I recieved a nice cellphone, a pair of shoes and some branded t-shirts during our christmas reunion with relatives. A nice time, indeed. The occasion was nice. We had quite a greate time catching up.
