Radio Station Still Exist?

I remembered 25 years ago in our country specially our province TV was not yet famous, having but only rich family can afford compared today, so radio stations and programs were dominated the whole day from music, news, drama, action, shows and others. But now TV technology are better, brought even in a rural area of the country, even radio programs have been seen in the TV called it tele-radio. So today where and what importance radio stations, are there exist, are there any new technology whom people wants like before? Does radio stations still famous in your country or area?

well, I still listening to the radio station on a daily basis though. I don't care what stations are there available, I just still want to hear those news, and the popular pop songs that just released. I like to listen to radio because while driving, it wont' be so boring.

hi visavis here In southern California we still have radio stations but with so much television I seldom pay much attention although I loved
listening to an all christmas music on the net from a radio station. Other than that I do not pay much attention to what modern radio here in the US does offer. I am on my computer and can use it for all the same things tv and radio offer so why use them when I am on the 
net any way?
