Arsenal missed building on it's win against Chelsea by conceding a late equalizer to Wigan. Chelsea put a halt to it's woeful run of form by beating Bolton at home by a goal to nil. While the boos continue to ring for Roy Hodgson and his men as Liverpool went down to Wolves at home!! I think Roy's job is on the line while Ancelotti's job must have got a temporary reprieve and Arsene Wenger just got more proof of why they will not win the league this year as well!! Cheers! Ram

In the current state, Manchester United seem to be favorites with Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City playing catch up. Tottenham could be outsiders to steal the show from under the radar. Cheers! Ram

Ok. So if I get the chance to see Tottenham play Arsenal or Man City I should see the match? What does Tottenham have that can help them leap frog to the top?

hi ram_cv, This is a interesting season. It seems that no team performs as well as in the last season, even Man United. But To spur is unexpected. as the fan of Chelsea, i am glad to hear that Chelsea won at last. Hopefully, Chelsea could transfer in some valueable players, such as Kaka, one of favorite player of Ancelott. Additionally, no injuries on the key players happen on the 2nd half season. As to Arsenal, i am so upset with its season performance in recent several season. Although Arsenal is anthother represntive of infensive and skillful soccer, it did not play well when it play against famous team. And in the 2nd half season, it always gradually lose the chance of chasing champion. Actually, i admire Wenger for his soccer management with less investment.

Yes, this transfer season could be interesting and we need to see how this shapes up. I think a lot of the big clubs would want to build depth into their squads. Cheers! Ram

Arsenal will fall apart in the 2nd part of the season, they just don't have the squad strength in depth. Chelsea have the weakest squad if they suffer injuries to key players, there is no one to come in. Ramires really isn't good enough this season and Terry is so slow that he's bound to get sent off or beat against quick opponents. Man U are faltering slightly too this season and they're definitely not as strong as in recent seasons but they have the experience of Ferguson as well as Valencia coming in, Valencia's awesome crosses will work wonders with the fox in the box Hernandez. Rooney may improve in the 2nd half of the season too, I can see Man U winning the title with ease. Spurs are having an awesome season and have players coming back, I think that if they bet Milan in the Champions League then there Premier League performance will suffer and they might finish in 5th but if they get knocked out early, they will concentrate on the Premier League and could finish as high as 2nd. Man City have looked impressive in the last few games but once the FA cup and Europa league start up again, they will fade away. I'm thinking: 1. Man United 2. Tottenham Hotspur 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Man City Liverpool are a disaster but I still think Hodgson has a tough job and would like to see him shift out loads of players. The team needs an overhaul but the supporters really seem to want him out and I think Martin O'Neill might be the man to replace him.

I think this is a crazy season. No one team wants to take control of the season. Each one who gets in the front then starts loosing to give control to someone else!! I think the final listing would be: Man U Arsenal Chelsea Man City Tottenham. Cheers! Ram

Iam happy that arsenal go stuck in a draw and the same thing happened to manu its just soo frustrating for me to see them concede at the end of the game. but the main news in EPL surely is the champions getting a win.I dearly hope that they don't continue it P: and again lose their game against villa or atleast draw with them. About liverpool i really dont understand are they planning to get relegated this season or they should sack their manger now and bring some new players to the team to strengthen it.Premier League is one the most thrilling leagues in the world because if a team is not playing well no matter who it is chelsea, manu, arsenal or mancity.Every team can beat the other team that makes it really interesting isn't it!

In the current form they are genuine relegation contenders. Losing at home to Wolves and more importantly never really looking like challenging them!! Cheers! Ram

Certainly this is a welcome result for Chelsea. They finally ended their winless streak. As for Arsenal and Liverpool, it was a poor result. Arsenal scored an own goal after their opponent when a man down. This makes their win against Chelsea rather useless. As for Liverpool, it means another low. Surely Roy Hodgson got to be the favorite for the next manager to get the sack.

Yes, that is why it was more disappointing for Arsenal. Wigan had gone one person down before Arsenal conceded the sloppy equalizer via an own goal!! Cheers! Ram

It's good to see Chelsea win again after such a long time;I almost forgot what it was like!Anyway,I hope this will be the beginning of a good series of results for Chelsea, althogh I don't think they will fight for the title unless they replace half the squad this winter, which is very unlikely.I have to admit that Arsenal impressed me on Monday evening, and if they played like this all the time they would have the first chance to win the title, but if they waste points against teams like Wigan they will win nothing again! As for Liverpool, there's really nothing to be said;they should keep Roy Hodgson until the end to make sure they won't play in Europe next season!

Yes, this is the most critical time of the season as matches come thick and fast during the Christmas and New Year period. So let's hope Chelsea can get a run going. Cheers! Ram

Well, it was about time Chealsea win a game. This match will help to boost morale as it must be quite poor considering its defeat against Arsenal. It came as a shock to me to hear that Liverpool lost against Wolves at home. I believe nobody expected this result, not even the Wolves fans i'm sure. This must be frustrating for Liverpool, lets hope the transfer market the solution comes. What can we say to Arsenal? They are a team that tends to get complacent against lower reputation clubs. This counts as an upset but I believe they will recover quickly.

Liverpool has a tough road back in the top league. I am pretty sure that if they finish outside the Champions League places, then Torres would move on. Gerrard might stay back, but not sure how many more good seasons he has in him. I agree Arsenal are really one of the most inconsistent sides at the top level!! Cheers! Ram
