Plotter and Printer drivers not found

Yesterday i got new PC at work at last. It have Intel core 2 duo processor, 4gb memory RAM with windows 7 OS and runs incredible fast. I am happy that i got it and now i can work much faster since my Autocad application will work without any speed, memory errors.
But today the first problem accoured - Windows 7 could not find any of my 2 HP printers/plotters at work. I had tried everything i could - manual search, automatic search for drivers, even tried to access on another work group PC shared printer, but still i failed. I still cant install HP designjet 450c and HP deskjet 1280. :(
Dont know what to do next? I am so happy about this new PC, but got problems with which i cannot do my job properly!
Any suggestions?

Hello iDivision.. heres what i suggest you can do, go to HP website , go to download page and search for "HP Designjet 450c. download the driver for windows Vista.. (should work for your windows 7)if your windows 7 is a 32 bit system. download the 32 bit version. and run the installer. Same for your HP designjet 450c. I checked the website and it has a driver for windows 7.. good lick.. Let me know what happen.

sporry, but on HP website there is no drivers for products i use. :(

It appears you are trying the link 'add printer'. The right procedure is to use the installation CD that comes with the printer. Normally, that should do. If you did not get a CD (not probable) you can use the drivers from the list that nearly matches, which of course is not an ideal solution. You can download drivers from the HP website too.

I downlaoded one plotter driver from internet, installed it, but within installation process windows 7 shown error that driver i am trying to install is unknown for them. i still managed to install it and will try it out at monday at work again. :)

Either use the disks that came with the plotter and printer or search for them on the HP site and download them. If your system is networked, then they may be available on the network server somewhere - check with your Network Admin. Depending on how your PC is configured, you may need Admin rights to install them.

printers and plotters are shipped with driver cd's along with the package and if you printer and plotter driver CD is not compatible with WIN 7 OS then look at the Hp site for drivers that are compatible with window 7 (or window vista because the drivers of these two OS are compatible with each other). other wise contact the Hp support or the vendor from where you bought your printer or Pc.

I dont know where is printer,plotter driver CD, because they where bought a long time ago.
It seems for me that at last i found out plotter driver on internet, but still need to find driver for printer. Thanks.
