Late drama at Stamford Bridge... Have Chelsea gone out of the Title race?

It was a wonderful match between Chelsea and Aston Villa. The match ended 3-3 with some late drama as Terry scored what he thought was a winner in the last minute of regulation play, only for the Aston Villans to come back and spoil the party with a late late equalizer in the injury time added on. I think this means that Chelsea for all the money is out of the title race. I do think they could still decide the title race, but only in affecting the chances of the other contenders!! What do you think? Cheers! Ram

The biggest puzzle this same team was looking so dominant at the start of the year. But at that time itself I had said that they had a very easy early run and I would reserve the comment till they come up against harder opponents. And they have really slipped since then. Cheers! Ram

It'was a great game and Villa are good team, but chelsea create enough good chances to win the game.

Yes, but the ruthlessness which we saw earlier in the season seems to have suddenly gone missing for Chelsea. Cheers! Ram

creating chances really isn't enough in football now. Scoring almost every chance created wins matches nowadays.

Chelsea is out of the race technically but if they stop the rot and win the next two game, they one can say they will out of the race this season.

I think if they beat Man U in their two fixtures with them, then they will be back in the race!! Cheers! Ram

I have watched the second half of the game which started with Heskey header goal. Then in the late moments of the game Drogba and Terry have made it 3-2 for Chelsea and I have shut the TV. When I looked at the results, I was surprised to see that the game ended 3-3. This was a surprise for me, but I still believe that Chelsea has chances of winning the title. Very few, but they are still there.

The simple truth is Chelsea need to search themselves inside out and flush away the disease they're having else they would find themselves in the same murky waters Liverpool also found themselves.

Not Finish yet. They should have won it. They lost concentration in the last minute. I think Peter Cech was too lazy to react. He waited the linesman to raise the flag. In my opinion, he could have blocked it.

Actually the whole defense went to sleep. It was a clumsy attempt to play offside and they paid for it. The problem with chelsea is that these lapses are now occurring in almost every match and teams are now coming to the Bridge looking to win instead of drawing the matches!! Cheers! Ram

This is a funny season. Man Utd who has not lost once this season is not running away with the title. Arsenal who have lost five matches so far is still within touching distance of the leader. So, it is premature to conclude that Chelsea is out of the running. There will still be many twist and turn along the way. But having said that, this is definitely a bad run by Chelsea. Unless they halt it, it will be over in February.

Yes, this is a really funny season. But even by that account, Chelsea seem to have fallen quite a bit off the pace now. Cheers! Ram

good luck for chelsea :) , I think the gunners has a great potential to win the BPL, but on condition that chelsea have to beat The Red devil.

On current evidence though Man U are the favorites as they are grinding results even when not playing well. They were very lucky against West Brom to get all the three points but that is what makes them the champion material!! Cheers! Ram
