I used to spend most of my spare time watching TV when my family didn't have computers. Now, I have a laptop and my family has a desktop computers. To tell you the truth, I have never watched TV since I had my own computer. I think I can get all the information on the Internet. I really think computers can replace TV stations. what about you? if you have both computers and TVs,do you still watch TV? and I think computers can replace TV stations. Do you agree?

Yes, I do still watch tv. Usually I watch tv while I'm online. That comes from having both very close to each other in my room. Not every show I watch is online. And even when they are online, you usually have to wait until after they air on the tv. Anyway, I don't watch tv just for information. I don't watch Doctor Who for information (and it's one show I can't watch online, since I'm in the US). I watch for entertainment. A lot of the time, I use the computer to supplement my tv watching. I watch the shows on the tv, then I blog about them, or read other blogs or message boards or fanfics. I do other things with the computer too. But, for me, the computer is an extra form of entertainment along with the tv, not a replacement for it.

well.. no such gadget can replace one or the other.. its just that television gives you alot of variety without searching for it exclusively and computers give you specifically what you need, television i beleive can give you awareness randomly, whereas computers are more xclusive. so both play some different role. its not that one can replace the other. surfing on computer becomes more tiring and television is relaxing. basically it comes to the face that computers are at times formal when you talk about surfing the net for information wheresqas television is informal, at times you dont feel like sitting back turning on the computer, putting it on charge e.t.c so you you can just turn on the tv and sit back and see random stuff on.
