Like father like son.

Are you like your father or your mother, both, or neither? I hate to admit it but I think I have a few traits like both of them, but tend to be more like my mother. Some kids bounce off of their parent's character and become complete opposites. Which are you?

Physically, I look like my mother. I have my father's eye color but that's about it. I was raised by my grandparents so my personality originated from being with them. I am not like either my mother nor father. I have been told that I "carry" myself in the same manner that my mother does. Body language I suppose would be the best way to describe it. My facial expressions and reactions are like hers.

I have pondered that alot myself..the truth is that I barely spent any time around my mother...from the time I was born I was with my grandparents and didn't see my mother even for regular visits. It is amazing at how we hold our hands the same when we talk or the way we express certain emotions during conversations. Almost like I had learned it from her but there was no way that I could have. I think that me and my mother would have been alot more alike had she chose some of my paths or I had chose hers. I have always loved her but I have also become who I am because I didn't want to be like her.

Interesting... I wonder if any of our personality is really biological.

I felt it's agreeable if we inherit physical characteristics but I always wonder about the psychological too. It's interesting.

I am a mix and I hope a mix of my parents good qualities. I hope my children can say the same.

I was never like any of my parents until a couple of years ago. Now I look like my father did - over-weight, thinning hair, I even have his walk! I never thought that I would reach this state of decline!

What about the personality? That's interesting though... we probably looked like them when they were our age, but we just didn't know them then to really feel like we look like them.

I cannot explain which of the two I am like, as not being raised by either it would be hard to delineate. But my son is like me in both feelings, personality and hardworking. As for my daughter she has a little of me but not like my son.

That's interesting.. did you have a guardian who raised you that you picked some traits from? I'm not like my sister at all either but I like her a lot... I get along with her even though we're so different.

I think I'm like more of my father. I understand more his attitudes than my mother. He's more patient than my mother and at times I hate my mother's attitude like shaming people at their mistake in front of others which I can't take it.

That's not cool your mother does that. I'm glad you didn't pick that up from her too.

At my appearamce most of my features are from my father, and some less features from my mother in my opinion all the children have features from both parents even if he/she are more like with just one from the parents. But in other plan i have and a behavior like my mother and les than my father. This is different each children. All children are unic.
