What are your views of homeless?

I really don't have a view of the homeless other than to realize that tomorrow it could be me. I do give money when I feel a nudging in my spirit. I don't donate to organizations. I just don't trust them. If someone comes up and asks me for money I'll give them some if I have it on me. These days I don't carry much cash because I use a Debit card. The homeless come to my mind late at night when I get home from work, get out of my warm car into the shivering cold. My first thought is 'Lord, it's hard to imagine that there are people out here in this with noway to get warm.' It's really sad. I know there are those that choose to disappear in a swarm of humanity, some are mentally ill, and then there are those out there with their children living in a culvert, under an overpass, it abandoned cars...my mind can't comprehend it.
