Solei Moon Frye starred in this series that ran from 1984 to 1988. I was sad to see it go off the air so many years ago, but I was fortunate enough to find a CD of a few episodes of this series early last spring. My kids love this sitcom...and the theme song is so catchy! Ha! Even my 10 year old son sings it. Is there a sitcom that has a catchy tune that you just can't get out of your head?

Oh haha yeah I use to kinda like that TV series too. as for sitcoms with catchy theme songs..um well three's company had a catchy theme song, and the Jefferson's, also had a fun opening song, and series called life goes on though I'm not sure if it classified as a sitcom since it was an hour TV series without a clapping audience, but there's actually a lot of classic sitcoms with fun catchy theme songs.

First of all I simply have to ask you if you remember that episode of Punky Brewster about the refridgerator? The reason I ask this is because my brother and I remember that episode vividly, but my sister-in-law swears that it didn't exist. And, yes, I did buy him a DVD of a few episodes of the show for Christmas. The television theme songs that I most vividly remember are The Brady Bunch and also the Jeffersons. They just don't make television show theme songs anymore like they used to in the good old days.

lol...not remembering an episode about the refregerator...which means I either I didn't see it, or it didn't have that much of an impact on me! Ha! I still sing the Brady Bunch theme song to this day at almost the age of 46...now that's catchy! You are so right though, the theme songs for the shows are not as creative or catchy as they use to be...and neither are the shows. I wonder what happened to all those creative thinkers and all the great family sitcoms. Thanks for participating! :)
