Eating and Schedules

When I go to work our lunch is at 11:30 a.m. but today we were told not to come in due to the weather here. And I was just wondering when you are at home from work say a sick day or bad weather day do you still eat your lunch at the same hour? Or do you snack all day long? And if you do have an eating schedule like for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner what times do you normally have them? Or do you have a set schedule for eating at all everyday and if you do does it keep you from being hungry all the time?

I usually have a set schedule... my body just works that way and I'd get hungry if I don't eat at that time.

Well, you shouldn't force yourself either, cause that can cause stress and make you more hungry. Your body needs a lot of energy to keep you warm during the winter. You should eat small amounts of food(fruits and veggie snacks) in small amounts of time. I heard that's good for people, especially with anemia.

I try to stay on a schedule but it never works for me. It seems like the harder I try I give up because I get so hungry from waiting until lunch time even when I eat breakfast. I think I get hungrier in the cold weather.

Well to start my day off i eat my breakfast right when iget up around 7:20 then i leave to go to work from there. While at work i eat lunch and bring my lunch everyday and i try to eat a fruit and maybe some cookies. I get hungry around 10:30 so i eat bring some cookies and eat those as i know it isnt the healthiest for me but it keeps me going for a couple more hours and then around 1 or 1:30 i will eat a fruit and that holds me over till i get home to then start cooking dinner and dinner is usually ready between 5:30 and seven and then everyone is usually home from work by then. Its important to stay on the same schedule and keep the schedule to stay healthy and live a good life.

Well, as a Diabetic I know that when I was working days my lunch was at 11:30 just to make sure I ate at a decent time without getting sick. I did find on my days off a lot of the time trying to eat by noon as I was hungry then, but doing it at the same time was never possible. Now that I am on swing shift... I usually find myself eating a little something around noon when I first get up, and then usually a quick snack around 4 when I am first getting to work, and then finally eating around 7:15 on my break. On my days off usually I eat dinner before 7 so it is never a set schedule for sure.

When I used to work and had a tight schedule I ate at the same time every day. i also didn't have trouble with my weight! But now I have sort of a schedule but it can be messed up too easliy caring for my son... I just eat when I get hungry and I have trouble now with my wieght.. Maybe I should put myself back on a more tight schedule...

I try to but always fail. I am hungry all the time and my weight goes up and down, I weighed more this time when I went to the doctor than I did last time, I think it was the medication they gave me at the Hospital last week, I was reading it and it said one of the side affects was rapid weight gain and I did put on a couple of pounds after taking it. But I stopped because it was upsetting my stomach!

For years and years, I have eaten on the same schedule. Breakfast is eaten around the same time. Lunch is eaten around the same time. So is dinner. I might have a small snack here and there. However, I try to keep to the same schedule. Everything remains the same a lot of the time. Otherwise, it leads to me getting hungry at very erratic times, even if I had just eaten. It is just what my body is really used to.

hello, Back in the Philippines, I'm used to eating schedules. Before going to work, I eat breakfast. I eat lunch in between 12noon to 1pm and dinner around 7:00 to 8:00 pm. But here in Canada, I got to eat two meals a day. A brunch and dinner. At first, I r feel hungry all the time but now I'm getting used to it.

i usually have fixed eating schedules when i was still working... but ever since i lost my job about 2 and a half months ago, my eating schedules have become a mess... it is because i mess my sleeping schedules as well... as a result, i usually skip breakfast nowadays and just have a brunch... but i will have a late midnight snack as well because i sleep quite late nowadays... i know that it is not good and very unhealthy to do this... that's why i try to get back to my original lifestyle again like when i was still working... take care and have a nice day...

My schedules for eating are not always the same. Except at my workplace currently my lunch break is between 12:45-1:15pm and I have to take lunch. If I am sick and stay at home, this will actually depends on my rest time but in the end I still have to eat something in order to make myself stronger.

Right now I do not have a work schedule. Neither my husband nor I are working. We usually have a yogurt when we wake up, along with coffee. That is about 8 in the morning. I might have some high fiber bagel or muffin after that, or eggs. I like to eat about 1130 when working, but we have been eating more like 12;30 or 1:00. We eat our evening meal at 6:00 pm. Hubby likes a late night snack, right before bed. We try to have something with protein in it, like cheese or peanut butter. I drink a lot of black coffee and tea with no sweetener.

I seem to keep the same eating schedules wherever I may go. it doesn't matter if I am at home or far away. I usually like to eat my breakfast, lunch or dinner at the same times and enjoy these meals in the same ways if i can.

During the office days, i eat lunch with my officemates during our lunch break. Dinner would always be the at the same time for the whole week. However, during Sundays, when i am just at home, i eat lunch when i am hungry already. The others at home would eat at the same time always during lunch but i would always eat later, because i still have finish the my general cleaning of our bedroom first and besides i am not hungry yet.
