Do you think godaddy dot com is a reliable site to make a website to earn extra money online? they have a very attractive plans to choose from. One that makes me interested is their " quick shopping cart "..do you think it's worth to subscribe on their premium plans? Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

I've had a mediocre experience with Go-Daddy. While I won't declare that they provided horrible service, I don't believe that they provided the best service either. I've had two domains registered through Go Daddy. Neither were set to auto-renew, and I called them with the intentions to not renew services through them. However, they automatically charged my credit card anyway. I phoned them, letting them know of the problem, and they credited the money back to me almost instantaneously. I do feel that their website can be very confusing and even intimidating for someone who is new to owning a domain.

well that's good at least they credited you back your money instead they just ignore you. I will be trying to make a website with them for selling stuff online but haven't started yet. I post this question to make sure because I had been scam before and I don't want to happen it again.! thanks anyway for sharing your experience with them.

I have a bad experience with GoDaddy. I was about to register a domain name for my planned site. In the middle of the process, I temporarily aborted the process due to some problems with my credit card. After a week, I have fixed the problem with the card, when I was about to resume the domain name that I have chose, it's no longer available for registration because it was already registered by GoDaddy and they are now selling it to me for an outrageous price?! GoDaddy is really bad... an online cyber squatter.. actually, an evil one! If you are planning to avail of their services, abort. There are online companies out there better than GoDaddy. I swear to myself, I will never do business with them again. I registered my domain name with HostGator now, and unlike with my bad experience with GoDaddy, I am very happy with HostGator!

well if that's the case, you should called or emailed them that you own the domain and explain the details..or maybe it's because you aborted it but I guess even though you aborted it you still own the domain name right? I don't know..!

Hi While I've never used go daddy for hosting I do use them for domains and have never had a problem with them. They've been around for awhile, but I guess like all hosts there may be a problem every now and then.
