Exercise as a way of enjoying life

When I was younger I did much walking along coastal tracks and countryside paths. I also rode my bike a lot to work, the shops and to other places I wanted to go. Sometime I cycled to the train station and then took my bike on the train. Then I could carry on cycling at the other end of my journey. Now I have a disabled son I can't go off cycling anymore and the walking I do has to be wheelchair accessible. I am thinking of joining a club that has a huge indoor swimming pool, a hydrotherapy spar pool and a gym. I think it would be a very enjoyable place to exercise and enjoy life. Is exercising a way to enjoy life? Which types of exercise to you enjoy?

Hello, I enjoy doing some sports such as playing badminton woth someone else or playing soccer with a team.Frankly speaking, doing exercise is never an enjoyable experience for me since it needs a lot of energy. But as age grow up, exercise is a must to maintain good health and it becomes something that "I don't want to do but still have to do it".I think doing exercise with more people together would be fun, but if doing it all alone all the times, it would be boring and not a quite enjoyable experience . I think it really depeands on the perosn, some people may enjoy doing exercise alone because he or she can spend sometimes with the "self" without any interruption.Well, it is always to be good to have exercise if you can enjoy it. Well, that' it for now and thank you for always responds to my post. God bless you and your family.

Exercise is a great way to enjoy life. Not only is it enjoyable to do, but the benefits gained from exercise allow you to enjoy other parts of life more as well. I like to get out on the water and go kayaking as well as swimming at the beach. I also enjoy hiking through the forest and mountain biking. I enjoy cycling most of the time, but prefer it to be in a scenic environment like down the beach or through the bush. I do exercise indoors sometimes with a DVD home workout/exercise program but I prefer to be outdoors.

Swimming is an enjoyable exercise. No matter what your age, and whatever your ability, swimming is one of the most effective and enjoyable ways to get fit. Swimming is also good for weight loss. It burns 500 calories in just an hour of swimming.

I've always been active. I used to run track in grade school, I used to ride my bike everywhere too. I don't think that having a disable son should stop you from being active. I see moms all the time pushing baby strollers and getting their exercise. You might have to make some different accommodations but I'm sure you could create an exercise program for yourself that will help you feel more active. I like to walk mostly, I had a hip replacement a few years ago so I don't do the same things I used to.

I have deep feeling for your disabled son and for you. Yes I think you can join a club that has indoor arrangement of games and exercise. I'm sure you will enjoy there. I also hope that your child will overcome his physical lacking. I like jogging.

I think exercise is a way to enjoy life. I like to take walks on sunny days or mornings when the sun is barely coming up. I also like the days after it rains. I usually do yoga everyday and in the evening I do my exercise dvds. I enjoy doing my hula exercise dvd because I really enjoy dancing.

Hi dear, Having body exercise is a mandatory requirement for us in the present day conditions. Many are ignoring the same with various reasons saying, no time, boring, lots of work, tension, etc. But at least for our own body and as a self requirement. It is my new year resolution and determination that I will continue my physical exercise and proper body maintenance. Though we won’t feel the requirement when we are healthy and fit. But once we are affected with dome kind of illness related to body, then the real imbalance and issues comes up. As a result we have to go for medication, doctor’s advice, etc. At that time, if the doctor insist us to go for physical exercises, at any cost, we will try for it. As this is a fact it is better to have physical exercise on a daily basis at least for 15 mts. and it will help for the fitness. The basis and mandatory exercises to be observed. Now-a-days, we will get all kind of guidance from anywhere and there is no need to go for any gym or anywhere. We yourself can do it at home and save money and time. Only thing, we should not cheat our self and we have a feeling that what we do is for our own benefit. I have continue from 1 Jan 2011 and it is going on smoothly. In fact, I feel fee and best fit and all my strain and difficulties with my joints and neck problems got eased and I think my opaque problem also will get normalized within 2-3 months. Even if you cannot join the club or gym, start initially at home. The details will get from various sites and simple forms can be get CDs form the market. We can continue with the guide of the CD or books, no one’s help in this regard is required. Or can join for 3 months and once become regular, can do the practice at home or outside the court yard. Any way I will continue and I think I am too late to start with. Wish you all the best. Thank-s

I love to exercise! I usually like to swim, or sometimes play tennis. It's a good way to get out in the summer time when the air is warm!

Hello maximax, I heard that cycling is a good exercise but I never did it. I am not spending special time for exercising and I am active in my works and do a walk regularly which is unavoidable in my regular works. I am not sure that whether I am thinking wrongly or not - I don’t need exercise to keep me fit. To be very honest there is lack of time to do exercises. I am a working lady and I have to take care of my kids too. Earlier also I read about your disabled child. It is sad to listen the disability of a child and you have to adjust your works and daily routine accordingly. There must be a bright future for him and he needs your support and encouragement. Best of luck to both of you.

I believe that exercise is a great way of enjoying life. it keeps us fit and active which in turn is a good thing for our lives. it doesn't matter if our exercise is simple as walking or a grueling workout at the gym. Exercise can be a life saver.

This is very true. Exercise is a way of life. A healthy way indeed. It makes us healthy. It makes us fit. And of course, it helps our body. Enjoying life doesn't have to mean pure leisure. Living healthy is enjoyable too. I love running and boxing. When I have the time and my friends are around, we play basketball. We're not much of basketball players. We're all girls and we don't really know the score. We play it to have fun and to exercise as well. During the summer I swim most of the time. I have a heart condition and as a way of strengthening my heart, I exercise. At first I thought I couldn't exercise much because of my illness but when I found out I can, I made sure that I do it regularly. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is enjoyable.

oh sure exercising is a way to enjoy life. i used to walk everyday, a brisk one. sometimes i dance, an arabic dance like undulating and isolating body parts and make my body shimmer very nice okay. i could produce water out from my body despite the cool weather and remove toxins as much as i can you know. i just love exercising everyday. by doing it so, seem like i do not have any problems at all. and yeah it will make you feel younger inside out.
