Sorry I am not about that much

As you might have noticed I am well behind here on mylot
I fell sick at my Sons, and have been since then, the Infections on my Lungs have gone but I do still have a viral Infection on them,
Yesterday was the first time I felt better when I got up, but an hour after getting up, I was getting severe Pains starting in the Lungs, my Stomach and chest
Like Indigestions Pains and I mean severe, I seem to get them when ever I am on my Steroids, but it settles after a while
Well by Lunchtime I was in so much Pain I went to bed, when I woke up I seemed ok until I got up, it hit me again
Anyway I rang the Doctor, who got me in, told me I am not to drive, done some Tests and the referred me to the Hospital for further Tests, as my Oxygen Level was down, my Breathing was worse then normal, and he was concerned about the Pains
So I was taken to Hospital, to go through 6 hours of Blood Tests more ECG's being prodded on the Stomach
I knew it was not my Heart
The Conclusion they came to is that I have an inflammation on the Stomach but the Doctor did state they can not say for certain, he told me that I am to rest, also if I get the Pains back I am to go straight back to the Hospital
They did want to keep me in but I told them I would be better of at Home,
So it looks like I can still not get here as much, the Pain is dull with the Tablets I am on but it is still there, I am very tired and sleeping a lot again, so please everyone, bear with me, do not think that I have forgotten about you all, and I am responding to Discussions but it will take me a little Time
So what has been keeping you away from your Friends?

Gabs, I'm not going to write much, because I want you to rest and get better. After you get better, we'll still be here, and then we'll talk. Hope you are feeling better real soon... Take care of the little man for us. Are you with your Son or are you at home?

I am back at Home, I drove home on the 4th Jan, which I had to do very careful and the Nurse came out the next Day
Now this when I thought I was getting better

Oh gabs, I am so, so sorry to hear this. 
Here I thought you were out running around with your son, having such a good time, and you've been home sick in bed. At least you went to see the doc and the hospital, so make sure if the pains are too bad again, you DO go back. Don't try to fight this by yourself.
Please stay in bed and rest like he said, take your pills, and don't worry about us here, I'm sure everyone thought you were just enjoying your vacation.

I am going back to my Bed in a bit, at the moment I am on the Settee with my Laptop but will be of to bed soon

I did still have a good time with my Children, it was hard driving back but I got back home
I will be just fine

I'm so sorry you are sick Gaby. It seems you and I just can not get well lately can we? hope you are much better real soon and that the blasted pains stop and do not come back to haunt to again.
Like you, I am not dong well at all. Since we spoke this morning...was it this morning...well anyway I have been having seizers all day and bad ones at that. I've been n and out of conscieousness with seizers as well as spending a few minutes online a couple of time this being one of them. Like you I get weak and tire and sleep too.

I am so sorry to hear how sick you are! I'm going to spend more time here to stay in tough with my old friends so that I know how you are all doing. Sweetie, I will keep you in my prayers. I can only imagine how frightening the seizures must be. I don't even know what is causing them. When you feel better I hope you will come back and fill me in. Take good care Sweetie.

Thank you Leenie. I have my brother here. I'm not alone. So I'm not going to the hospital for them to put me me like I know they would. They have done it so many times. To me I am much better off at home than I am in there. I have my implant and my medicine. My comfortable bed and no nurses to interupt me when I'm sleeping.
I feel so bad but I feel better at home.

oh gabs I am so sorry to hear you are so ill. Thse viral infections
in the lungs can be really hard on you. And a tummy inflammation
on top of it wow.Life has dealt you a tough blow. I hope little
gissi is okay now as you do not need any more problems. give him
an extra hug for me too. I am like you when I am really sick I'hate to be in the hospital, I do better at home.Dear love please do not worry

Your little Man in the Doggie Suit is wonderful, he is full of Fun, doing well and thinks Mum is his personal Bouncy Castle
He is back to cheeky Gissi who makes Mum laugh and everyone else that comes here lol
I will be fine Patsie, there are People worse then me, like our dear Friend Lori, I got such a shock when I read what has happened to her
Yes I am in a bad way at the moment but I will get up there again, I am more worried about our Dear Friend though, it has made me sad

Like you, I would not want to be in the hospital. I feel like I always catch something, especially if I go to the emergency room with a friend or something. I almost always get sick. I know you would worry yourself sick about Gissi as well if the Doctor said for you to stay in the hospital.

I am doing a bit better I just wish that you and Cheryl would get better, I worry about you both
In my case the Lungs are just not letting go of the Infection and it hurts on top of that they now believe I sciatica so I am doing well lol
I will be fine, the Gastric Problem seems to be under control with the Tablets they gave me
Gissi is doing good and I hope he stays like that poor little Man has been through enough over the last Year

Wow, this does not sound good, and I hope everything is going to be OK. Could it be an allergic reaction or something caused from the steroids, etc. from the infection? I would definately recommend you consider being looked at more and seeing what is causing this and then go from there. My thoughts and Prayers are with you at this time. Please keep us updated when you can. (((HUGZ!!)))

Hi Tina I am sorry that I am so late in responding
I have been to my Lung Consultant and they are talking about a double Lung Transplant in the next 2-4 Years
They do think it is a side affect from the Steroids so I will see when I have to take them again
I am a bit better, the Gastric problem has been ok for 2 Days now so will see
I hope you are ok I have a Discussion of yours in my Folder and I will do my best to get to it very soon Hugs back to you

The Gastric Problem has calmed down but the Lungs are still playing up badly but I am sure I will get there
Everyone has this awful Virus so it was unavoidable for me getting it and it is lodged in the Lungs
They give me Antibiotics it clears for a few Days and then it is back

Hi Gaby..So sorry to hear this. We are praying for you and thinking of you often. Take this time to rest. If you were closer I'd make you a big pot of my famous chicken soup. It heals everything!! I am so sorry Gabs that you have been having such a rough time. I sure hope you get to feeling all better real soon. Just take it easy, get lots of rest and see us when you see us. Us long term mylotters will still be here, we're not going anywhere. Life does keep us busy, I know I don't get to be here as much as I used too. As always its nice seeing you. very sorry to hear of all your health problems, I am sure all your friends, like myself wish you a speedy recovery and fully understand why you cannot do much posting. The pain you are in , plus all the complications sound agonising. plus you have the added sorry of gissi. hope he is not too bad.
i am sorry too i do not get on line very much at the moment. but i just don;t get enough time. it is so frustrating. i start off with all good intentions, but by the time i get in from work, do dinner, wash up,
do any washing ironing etc., take dexter out, i seem to have no time to spare to get on line, and then get to bed 
in plenty of time to get up for 6oclock in the morning and start all over again!!

Hi Margery, Gissi is actually doing good right now and I hope it stays like that for my Baby as he has been through enough over the last Year

My Lungs well they are giving us all a hard time this time and I am always so tired so sleeping quite a bit
But hey you know me I always bounce back, even if it is taking longer this time
