FAT jokes for fun and.. well.. just for fun...

A few years ago I was teaching a group of teenage girls a class in first aid. It was a requirement for the church youth group in preparation for "girls camp" that summer. I taught the section on safely moving and carrying people with injuries and broke up the girls in groups of 2. Something I said made one of the girls joke, "are you saying I'm fat?" From then on, my nickname for her was "Fat". She loved it, because well.. she was anything but. She was a tooth pick, the kind who could eat anything and not gain an ounce... you know, the ones women swear they hate. :~D The running joke lasted about a year then seemed to die out. About a year after that, she asked me why I never called her by her nickname anymore. So, I not only started calling her Fat again, but every time I saw her, I came up with a new fat joke. She absolutely ate it up! (again, without gaining an ounce). :~d About that time, a new family moved into our congregation, the father also soon became our new bishop. His wife overheard me calling her Fat and just tore into me about how hurtful to a young woman that can me. She demanded that I never call her, or anyone else "fat" again... of course, I didn't listen to the demands, but I didn't say anything to her about the inside joke either. (Let her suffer.. or learn for herself ;~D). Fat's family are good friends of ours, and throw a really great New Year's party. A few New Years Eve's ago, we were having a lot of fun at the party. Among other things, we played Guesstures. As fate would have it, when I was up, I drew the five cards, one of which read the word "FAT". I put that as the last word to try to get my team to guess. When I came up to that word, I just turned to Fat, and with an accusing gesture, I pointed to her, over and over. Everyone in the room, on both teams yelled... "FAT!" What is Fat's belt size? I-80! Fat doesn't have a waistline, she has an Equator! Fat's dresses are made by Coleman.. the tent maker! The average American eats 22 gallons of Ice Cream a Year... That means Fat is the Average American on a daily basis! ~~~~~ See, fat jokes can be fun! As long as they are fun for all involved! :~d
