Why people rather go with Trash

I remember I know 2 restaurants next to each other, the first restaurant serves delicious food that is affordable and the place is cozy and comfortable. next to it is a messy restaurant that is unorganized, their food is drowning with oil and MSG and the place is so crowded with people. The food they serve were also more expensive but they have more customers. Its also like in other stuff, Usually people will rather go with popularity than quality. I see the same thing when it comes to the music industry and other stuff.

Hi Captain, I would say that the messy looks of the Restaurant is because of the fact that it has more customers... they do not have time to clean up the tables and stuff around. Again many people believe that the messy look means cheaper rates. They get in and find the prices are high. But the food as you mention has more Oil and MSG this implies a better taste (remember, I love junk food because it is something that I should NOT be eating) This logically means that people want to have food (at times) which is not medically healthy.

The more toxic, The more greasy, the more cancerous the more tasty, Is that what you mean?

It seemed like when something is unhealthy and cancerous people will eat it. When something is full off preservatives and additives, people will eat it.

greetings! at the end of the day, it's all about personal preferences. if they feel that taste or popularity is more important, then they go for the one that gives them that. there is no hard rule on these things and people's tastes and preferences change over time. so who knows when the other restaurant finally convinces them to try theirs next time? :)

The other restaurant is already bankrupt sadly because people never gave it a chance, I was like their only customer. The other restaurant happens to have commercials and multiple branches but what they serve is trash and not fresh.

Thats because people only trust popularity most of the time, if its not popular they wont even give it a chance.

awwwh, that is sad to hear. there could have been other ways of promoting their services and products better but it's too late now.

If I were to choose between the two restaurants, I would choose the less crowded one. I cannot eat in a crowded and noisy restaurant, that's why I avoid Chinese restaurants. Even if the food is a little pricey, I would still go for it unless the prices are way beyond my budget and the food is blah. I can name a lot of pricey restaurants in the metro where the food is expensive but tastes horrible. I also don't go with popularity unless I have no other option.

Its hard to eat in a crowded restaurant specially if they were popular to kids. thats why I dont eat to Jollibee because I have a bad experience of eating beside a vomiting toddler. I know one of the reasons Jollibee is popular to kids are their flashy commercials.

Yes it is true that most people are so confused about life that they let the opinions of the general public make just about every decision for them. That's why such crappy music as Justin Bieber, Kesha, and any other droning babble about how the artist is spending your money has gotten popular as MUSIC. When it comes to restaurants though, there really are few actual QUALITY ones out there. It's hard to really be able to guarantee quality of any of your food that comes from a restaurant because all the restaurants I've worked at personally have had terrible working conditions and the people I work with generally don't even try to do the best job they can. The restaurant experience I have had in the past years has made me want to shy away from pretty much every restaurant because there is plenty of shady things pulled with the food service every hour. The more you work behind the scenes the more you get scared about what you are putting into your system. Plus I mean you can have much more fun and have a much healthier and nutritious meal. You can also construct it with your loved ones and it won't be deep fried or greasy or completely nuked of all of it's nutrition. Great post whisker, p.s. did you get a new account?

Oh I deleted my old account because of bugs but its a long story lol, Long time no see. I know its really hard to look at mainstream music nowadays, the good mainstream ones dont reach the charts. I was more inclined to underground music because there is more originality and love with the artist. The music is not crappy and trash. people are lazy to find good music, they rather eat what is being spoon fed to them. Right now, i felt like cooking my own dinner, Its hard tot rust restaurants, though i know some good places where the food is delicious and the place is not crowded.

Really? I don't get it either. The restaurants just beside my school reflects the same thing. The cleaner, more organized restos were always dissed and the ones that looks messy has a lot me people in it.

Its also like Music, people rather buy the albums of the less talented ones because they were over promoted or their music videos are very flashy and pretty.

hello Captain, I also observed that some people choose cheaper clothes than expensive one because they are not about the quality but the quantity (sometimes i am one of them when it comes to accessories and clothes) but when it comes to food i am always after the taste. happy posting

In the case of what i see though, the more affordable and sanitized one have less people on it.
