There are so many different kinds of magazines published these days. They are all very informative and enjoyable in their unique ways, indeed. I do very much enjoy reading magazines. Those which are related to my work, I subscribe so that I would not miss an issue. For other magazines which I enjoy reading once in a while, I buy at the shops. How about you ? Do you prefer subscribing or buying at the shops.

I used to subscribe to Reader's Digest and have a shelf of them at home. But when i resigned from my job and was a plain housewife for more than 2 years, i unsubscribed from it. Now that i am working again, i haven't found the time to subscribe to it , but would once in a while buy from the shop if the topics, interests me so much. I get to read a lot of magazines though , when i go to our parents house, because my sister who has an eatery in our garden has lots of them. She uses them for the customers to read while waiting for their orders. Happy Mylotting!

I don't really subscribe to any magazines, nor do I really buy them. Honestly, I'm not really into magazines. It's not the sort of thing that I'm really interested in reading, or anything like that.

Me too. I would subscribe to only those magazines that I wish to read regularly. And, for me, most of them are work-related. The other types, I buy just once in a while.

Hello Puccagirl. That makes sense, to subscribe to those magazines which you read regularly. Other kinds, one can buy once in a while only. I agree with you.

I do not subscribe to any reading publication, I just pick up a book or magazine that catches my fancy in the mall, the habit seemed to have dwindled a little because of the internet

In these times ,we are dazzled by the multifarious magazines .In the past I subscribed for several magazines which are related to either my profession or my hobby, but I was too busy to read them fully ,so that some are completely new up to now.For those magazines that I had no time for reading,I begrudged selling out to salvage station,as a result, boxes, cabinets are filled with magazines.I am perturbed at the thought of them. Now I only subscribe a kind of digest.

Yes, indeed, the book shelves get full with magazines, and one has to find the ways to get rid of them.

I love magazines! I used to subscribe to Seventeen magazine, but when my subscription ran out and my mother would no longer pay for it, I resorted t o buying it from the store. I don't buy every month;s edition,b ut I do buy it when I et the money and chance too. I really should subscribe. It's cheaper that way.

Hello Stephanie. Yes, you are right. In most cases, subscribing is cheaper than buying issue by issue at the stores. So, those I wish to read regularly, I subscribe.
