I LMAO! A would be suicide bomber in Moscow was planning a terrorist attack when a spam text from her phone company to wish her a happy new year set off her bomb and killed her. http://www.leaderpost.com/news/Text+message+blows+suicide+bomber+accident/4172966/story.html I wonder, If this took place in the US, do you think her family would have sued the phone company? and do you think they would have won?

I have to admit that this was my favorite news story of the week. I felt especially good about it after I saw the photo of this bomber and her husband posing for their Facebook profile or something, looking all mysterious and sexy with their pistols in hand and her full-body burqua. Maybe spam is the way to go. We could establish the Department of SPAM (Secret Probes As Messages) and hire thousands of teens who will text "What up?" to random phone numbers 24 hours a day. Job creation, you see. Helps the economy, blows up terrorists and keeps teens off the streets.

Haha good riddance. Did she not realise that she could possibly receive a text message from someone? A friend maybe? And your point about if it was in America and would her family have sued...I really wouldn't be surprised! I am curious as to what would have happened in that situation but yeah, like I said it really wouldn't surprise me. Those Americans are crazy!

I said before a long, long time ago that people should be out there selling fake bombs on the black market left and right. Instead of infiltrating cells for info, instead infiltrate to sell bombs that blow up upon activation. I'm a firm believer in speedy execution of terrorists! And when they do it themselves like this, I'm all for it. Happy New Y...

That did get a small chuckle from me. Of all of the times to get the spam message, it would have to be that one. it just proves that the world in general no matter what you believe will work in strange ways. A one and million chance that something like that would happen and it in fact happens. That just really proves something intriguing, doesn't it? And yes, I do believe that the phone company would have been sued over this had it happened in the United States. Given how this tends to be a nation where every little thing gets a lawsuit slapped on it, I can just imagine. Getting burned with coffee that you are stupid enough to put between your legs when you drive, yeah that is lawsuit worthy, so I can just imagine the circus that would follow if something like this happened in the United States.

If the case ever sees the light of day, then we know who controls the courts. Anyway, that was an interesting story. I would not have heard of it if not for your discussion.
