Nostradamus: 2012

hmmn, I don't believe that the world will end, it's just hogwash...the world is not going to end yet, but I do believe that it would be a year of new beginnings, the end of life as we know it, I just do hope that the change would be positive not a negative one...

I heard some history channel and other videos that Nostradamus never said that. He said actually the world was going to end in 99.

I've carefully and prayerfully studied the Book of Revelation from the Bible, which everyone has for a large part all wrong! I believe the prophecies of the Bible but not Nostradamous, tho I think he did have some precognative abilities, and I don't believe the 2012 prophecy. The Book of revelation/Apocalypse does prophecy and describe a time of the 'end' of man's system of things (because it is built on untruth,etc and can only eventually come crashing down). Before the 'end' there will be a sort of world 'peace' or union (accord, treaty or league is the meaning of the original Hebrew word used in the Old Testament verse I am thinking of).. We can see the trend toward globalism and a one world type system (too much power in few hands!) So we do still have a ways to go yet. 'One world' will be followed by troubles and drought and the renewing of discords due to drought and thus shortage, but a very definite sign is given, when the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem is carried away/destroyed, three and half Hebrew years later will come a time of great peril when one will want to have provisions enough for 45 days. The last ten days will be life threatening so stay hidden!! [Like riddles? this 45 days of peril and Wailing Wall removal (clue: every stone) is what I learned from these verses: Daniel 12:11,12; Matthew 24:1,2; and Rev 2:10 and prayerful contemplation of them, deep prayers for Truth.]

I donot believe that the world will end on 2012... But selfish as i may be to say this... I am somewhat hopeful... I hope that there is teuth to that actually... Maybe it makesme look forward to that future... Because i am hoping i only need to endure until then... Just barely two years... Sorry that i have to rant at your discussion...

Not really. Many people in history have already predicted that the world will end in this year and that- but those years have come and the world still stands. I think no one can really predict when the Judgment Day will come and the world will end. I am not really scared, we have been waiting for God for a long time... I'll just put my trust in Him and wait for His judgment when the time comes..

definitely NOT. i do believe in what the Bible says... that nobody ever knows, nor could predict when will that time come. even the angels do not know when, how much more can we know? only God himself perfectly knows when. it could be any time now, it could be tomorrow, it could be tonight, or next week, well it's a total mystery that no body will ever solve. just accept that fact. many have already attempted when, but have failed. we just have to do whatever we ought to be doing in our lives and just strive to be a better person each day. Hmmm, well I don't agree with the concept of the whole world ending right away! But, yes, I believe that there will be enough damage done to make a mark of the destruction! Well, it could be taken as the judgement day, when the evil and the wrong people who go out of the values are punished severely and the good one's are gifted to remain back and enjoy his creation all through his life. I think, the year 2012 will remain as one of the historical years of the lifetime of the year! What ever it is, I'm a little scared, but then, the excitement is getting higher and higher as the days pass on! I'm looking forward with the hope that, everything happens for a reason! and for the betterment of the GOOD! :) Cheers! :)
